This is my master bedroom with my new chair! The upholsterer had it almost a year! He's a great guy who I really like and he stays really busy so I couldn't get mad. (wanted to though) Talk about getting impatient Lynette!! He He.Finally he called the other day and joked and said he had my" antique "chair ready. (get it? because he had it so long) ;) Anyway, I was glad I didn't bug him to much because he ended up not charging me anything! He felt bad, so I guess it paid off to be patient. I did the chair in a solid green since the bedding is so busy. This room is only14x14 so what you see is the WHOLE room.
It's colorful just like the rest of the house!
I'll be in Dallas until monday, I'm going to a baby or babies shower(the twins) ,we will hopefully hang the cornice board and curtains. Maybe I'll have some pics to show you. I'll talk to you guys soon!! I've gotta pack and I have nothing to wear!!!

I love your MBR! The colors are similar to the rest of your home! You have the patience of Job! and it really paid off, it looks lovely.
Your MBR is so lovely...and the chair is just the right size & color...if you ever change things up it will look good with just about anything. You were rewarded well for your patience. ;-) Bo
Kristen - it's lovely, but then again your whole house is lovely! Have I mentioned how much I love that scroll work you did above the chandy - I wish I could do something like that in my DR - I'm not quite that talented!! Your patience was rewarded - no charge, that's like FREE!!
Have fun at the shower, can't wait to see the pics of the babies' room.

Just beautiful. Love the armoire as well. Have a wonderful and safe trip! ~Enjoy~
Love all the color...I have a lot of yellow walls and your colors are very similar to those in my master! Color is a good thing! Everything is beautiful! The lamps are sooooo wonderful! The chair turned out great, too!
Oh it's just beautiful! I love your room, all my favorite warm colors! I can't believe he GAVE the chair to you even after a year!
Lovely room! It must be a tranquil retreat at the end of the day.
Are the drapes and bedding custom as well? Both are lovely. And the 'antique' chair has Christmas potential! You could bring it out into the main part of the house for the month of December and add a red throw and holiday pillow ; )

"Why is the family so important to Muslims?"
The family is the foundation of Islamic society. The peace and security offered by a stable family unit is greatly valued, and seen as essential for the spiritual growth of its members. A harmonious social order is created by the existence of extended families; children are treasured, and rarely leave home until the time they marry.
