Fall Mantel 2015

Well, it's been a while! You know you can always find me on Facebook!
Are you ready for fall? I sure am. I love the rich colors of fall along with the nice weather!
I made the wreath using pumpkins, sunflowers, berries and foliage. I added a berry garland and poked in some moss balls and pumpkins. I used the bird pictures on my previous mantel, but decided to leave them once I hung the wreath. They just looked like they were meant to be!  I needed something tall on each side and since I have done lanterns for the past two years I was on a mission to find something different! I found the wheat at Pier 1 Imports and dressed them up with ribbon and pumpkins. I also had the moss balls in the metal urns on my previous mantel. I liked the way they looked, but they needed some color so I added some fall leaves around the bottom. I'm still working on the rest of the house and will post pics next week.

Spring On The Kitchen Island

I brightened up my kitchen island with a silk arrangement I made out of tulips, berries, and greenery. The bunny is from Pier 1 Imports and the tray is from T.J. Maxx.
The colors of spring make me happy!

Spring Cloche With Birds

I'm so ready for spring!

This is a little spring display on my entry way table using a cloche from Pier 1 Imports. I added nests, birds, vines and moss balls to complete the vignette.
This is very easy to make. The hardest part is getting that nest to sit just right inside the cloche!
Happy Spring decorating!

Christmas Mantel 2014

I'm catching up on my blog!
This is my Christmas mantel 2014 with a Santa theme.
Believe blocks, glittered curly sticks and lots of ornaments made my mantel sparkle last year!

Fall Mantel 2014

Well Hello!
I'm still here, but it has been a while!
Most of you know where to find me these days...Facebook! I will still post my seasonal décor here, but I'm so busy with my online business and Facebook that I don't have time to do as many blog posts as I used to do. I will be posting the rest of my fall and Christmas décor here soon so be sure and check back!
I just finished my fall mantel over the weekend. I hot glued a black wooden B to a burlap covered piece of cardboard and framed it. It was an easy project. I made the arrangements on each side along with the piece in the middle. I used sunflowers, pumpkins, natural sticks and moss balls. I especially love the little moss balls coming out of the arrangements.
Some of you might notice the new curtains. I know a lot of you loved the red and gold silk checked ones and I did too, but they had to go! I had them for 10 years and they were faded and had holes in them. I found these on and love them! They are called Mirage stripe if you are interested. They are very well made. Also, the wooden lanterns are from Kirkland's.

I added some fall décor to my coffee table along with fall pillows from Kohl's and an owl pillow from Pier 1 Imports I purchased last year.
Happy Fall Ya'll!

Spring in the Kitchen

Yay! It's spring! I hope it is warming up where you live! I am finally done with my spring decorating inside and am starting on the outside now. I can't wait to get it done!  I thought I would share a few pictures of my spring kitchen with you...
I created this tablescape using a lantern dressed with one of my swags. I added eggs inside along with bunnies beside it. The napkins, hand painted stemware, placemats and lantern all came from Pier 1 Imports.
I found the metal tiered basket at Kirkland's a few years back and laid flowers and berries inside along with the nest, bird, and birdhouse. This vignette really brightens up the island!
 Happy spring!!

Now if I can just finish the rest of the house! This warmer weather is putting me in the mood to decorate! I hope it's warming up where you live!

Wishing you a wonderful spring!! Thanks for stopping by!
