Gingerbread Creations

I have sold several gingerbread items this season. I have decorated my kitchen in the gingerbread theme for years and still love it!  There is just something about it that I love! It’s cute, whimsical, fun and makes me think of baking even though I rarely do! Ha! I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas season!!

Christmas Mantel 2019

Home for the Holidays!

I found this cute sign at Kirkland’s and thought it would be perfect on my mantel this year! I added a garland that I’ve used for several years, but changed it up a little. The snowmen, little houses and trees complete the mantel! It’s fun and a little whimsical! I will share more pics as I get things decorated around here.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Christmas Mantels Throughout the Years

It’s almost time to decorate for Christmas! I always start with my mantel and then go from there. The mantel is the focal point of my house when you walk through my door so I like to go all out! Here are some of my festive mantels throughout the years! I’ll be working on this year’s mantel very soon!

Custom Christmas Lantern Centerpiece

I made this lantern centerpiece for a customer today and it turned out beautiful! The wooden lantern is from Kirkland’s and I dressed it up with gorgeous ribbon, ornaments, poinsettias and greenery. I think she is very happy with it! πŸ€—

Fall Porch

Oh how I love the colors of fall! 🍁🌻🍁🌻🍁
The mums look so pretty in full bloom right now. Hopefully they will last a little longer!
I reused my wreath from last year and decorated the topiaries to match.
The weather is cooling down so it’s beginning to not only look like fall but feel like it too! πŸ€—

Fall Lantern Swags

Fall is in the air! I have made several of these pretty fall lantern swags and will be making more. As long as you have a lantern that measures approximately 7 x 20 (give or take a few inches) and has a finial/topper it will work on your lantern. There is ribbon on the back that ties around the top of the lantern. I have sold tons of them and have had happy customers!

Christmas swags will be coming soon!

You can check out my Etsy store at Kristenscreations to see my listings. The link to my store is on my sidebar.

Fall Cloches

Cloches are so much fun to change out for the seasons. There is just something so interesting about them and so much you can do with them!

I added little pumpkins, greenery and brass owls to mine for the fall season. It won’t be long before they will be changed out for Christmas!

Fall Mantel 2019

I hope you all are having a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I’ve been busy with family but things are winding down now. Yesterday I was in the kitchen and heard a loud crash! The Harvest sign, fall arch and glass votive holders came crashing down! 😳 It scared the cats to death and they stayed under the bed for about two hours. Poor things! The hanger on the back of the sign had come loose. I went to Pier 1 imports yesterday and bought new votive holders and they actually look better than the ones I had. So it all worked out I guess and everything is put back together. I think I am done decorating for now until I do the outside.

Also, I will be listing new fall items tonight and they will ship tomorrow before my mom and I leave for Dallas. I’m hoping to bring home lots of fall and Christmas materials to work with! I’ll share pice while I’m there.

Fall Kitchen Table

I’m back!
I really need to stay on track with my blog! I’m just figuring out how to post on my blog from my phone. 😳 I know...I should have figured it out a long time ago! I do everything from my phone now so it will be a lot easier to post now.

Have you started thinking about your fall decorating yet? It’s still early, but I’m almost done! 🍁

I made this centerpiece at 2 a.m. Ha! I’m a night owl. The melamine plates are from Marshall’s, the napkins are from Kohl’s and candle holder is from Pier1 Imports. The base of the centerpiece is a wreath and I added some pumpkins, greenery, and extra berries to it. I like to reuse my floral items from year to year in different ways. I’ve got one more arrangement to make for the kitchen island then I’m done! I won’t start decorating outside just yet...More pics to come!
