Fall is in the air here in Arkansas! At least it's supposed to be tomorrow...today it was 86 but tomorrow it's only supposed to be 62! It hasn't been that cool since this past spring! I'm ready for the cooler temps...
I finally somewhat finished the front yard. I say that because I know those petunias and marigolds are going to freeze soon and I will have to replace them. Oh well, they should last a few more weeks or so. I just couldn't bare to pull them up when they are still so pretty!

Your front yard is definitely looking like fall and is so attractive. Love your front door wreath! Enjoy the cool temperatures that are coming your way.
Lots of beautiful colors - very autumn looking. The last time I decorated with pumpkins (we lugged back from Pennsylvania to Florida) some teenager made off withe them - probably got a hernia from carrying those heavy things. This year it will be with mums of different colors. Your yard looks fantastic!! Happy Fall, Y'all!!

It looks so pretty, Kristen! I love all the color. I always left my annuals that were still blooming in place, too. Great scarecrows and your wreath is beautiful.
Kristen,
Your yard is absolutely beautiful. I love the splashes of fall colors throughout your yard. I just adore fall mums. I really like your scarecrow and your fall flag. Your wreath is *soooooooooooo* pretty. Can you tell I really like it? ;)
Thanks for sharing! XO ~Liz
Kristen, your front yard looks so festive and welcoming! I so appreciate that you left your annuals in, as well. Why waste perfectly good flowers? It is so easy just to mix in fall elements and make everything so pretty. Love your scarecrow and the fall flag. Cute accents! Just beautiful!
oh, kristen your home looks so fallish!! love the little scarcrow!!

I love your front yard leading to your door. The flowerbed is very pretty. My flowers are actually doing better now that the temps have dropped. My geraniums did poorly this summer but now they are full of blooms. Love all the touches of fall you've displayed around your home and yard.
have a great day~ Lu

Your References Only the Best! What does your daily lesson plan consist of? Aruna Roy: I met her along with a delegation- which included many campaigners from 'Janadesh-2007', which is at present the main focus of our activity. At least 25000 people are marching from Gwalior to Delhi, demanding a land reform policy from the government. Land should be given to the tillers at the earliest. In the National Common Minimum programme the UPA government had promised that people would get their land and their livelihood would be ensured, therefore we went to ask the UPA Chairperson that there is a commitment made by this government and it should be honoured. So, in principle, she accepted our claim, but regarding the formation of a land policy and the commission to execute it, she told, she would be talking to the Prime Minister. The PM has already been provided with the papers related to the matter. We requested her that there should be some immediate announcement by the government after due consultation with civil society groups and activists by the time the ongoing march (Janadesh-2007) arrives in Delhi. But Sonia didn't make any commitment. Working for a translation company I often receive calls from people who were brought up with two languages at home. How do I become a translator they ask? The sad matter of the fact is that as lucky as you are to be bilingual it is not purely the ability to speak two or more languages that will set you up to be a full time translator. One essential quality, which is often neglected, is the fact that you need to be able to write well, have a fluency of style as if you were the author of the text yourself. A translation, regardless of whether it is a dry financial text or a literary masterpiece, will need to read naturally so that the reader will not recognise it as a translated text.
