Happy Easter Tablescape! (Repost)

Hey guys! I hope you are all having a great week! Can you believe it's almost Easter?? I can't! Some of you might remember this tablescape from last year. I decided to repost it for tablescape Thursday. We are going to my grandma's for Easter this year and then I am headed to Dallas. If I was going to do an Easter tablescape this year it would probably look the same anyway! lol...Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter everyone! Welcome to the 33rd tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/. Go check out her tablescape and a list of other participants. You will get some great ideas! I decided to do an easter themed tablescape when I realized my china has the perfect colors for easter. When I got married over 15 yrs. ago, our wedding colors were pink, teal, purple and yellow. I think I seriously thought I was supposed to match my china to my wedding colors! lol.... It's called Floradora Green by Royal Doulton. I really love it and am glad I picked it. It's perfect for spring!

I had this ribbon and it happend to coordinate well with the dishes, so I tied it around the candleholders. I love pretty ribbons!

This rabbit container sits on top of my kitchen cabinets with ferns. As I was looking around the house for tablescaping ideas I spotted it! I got it at Kirkland's several years ago. You might notice it has the same tulips as my tablescape a few weeks ago. I'm recycling!

I bought the little eggs at Michael's on sale for $1.50. I was planning on using them on the napkins, but did this instead.

I bought the little pots of flowers on sale at Michael's too and just glued in the bunnies that I already had.

My mom and dad like to go antique shopping and bought this cream and sugar set last week. It goes perfectly with the china so I had to borrow it!

Here's my Tuesday Morning find. I just love these!

The ribbon is tied on silver napkin rings.

Peeps are my favorite easter candy.

Oops! Sorry little bunny, you are soooo sweet....I just couldn't resist!

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed easter!

Fun In Branson!

Hey Guys! I wanted to show you a few pictures from our little Branson getaway. I didn't take very many, I kept forgetting to get my camera out. We had alot of fun! My mom and dad came too and we all went to the Noah musical. It was awesome! It's around two hours long, but is definitely worth it.Chase really enjoyed it too. Brrr...it was chilly and windy out that night.
We always stay at the Grand Country Inn. They have alot for kids to do, including an indoor water park and a huge new game room. They also have the best breakfast buffet in town!Chase had so much fun in the new game room! It got expensive pretty quick though...luckily his papa was there to pitch in! lol...I think he likes playing as much as chase does!
We also shopped and ate alot! We love the Branson Landing, there is a great Mexican Restaurant there we love to eat at. We also love Mel's Hard Luck Diner. They have great burgers and shakes. The waiters and waitresses walk around and sing...they are wonderful! Chase went back to the Titanic Museum with my parents. That was his third time...he loves it! We had a fun filled weekend! Chase is already wanting to go back...lol. I hope you are all having a great week!!

Fertilizer Friday!

Hey guys! I thought I would join Tootsie for Fertilizer Friday. Please pay her a visit, she is an amazing gardener! Ahhhh...I remember when my backyard looked like this. I am so ready to have green grass and blooming flowers again!

I'm ready to sit out here and enjoy the nice weather while sipping on a glass of sweet tea. Please!! No more of this...I don't think I can take anymore! lol...

My trees are starting to bloom. We have been anxiously awaiting since we planted them after they flowered last year. The one in the background is new so it's not blooming as much. The other tree croaked last year!

The creeping phlox is starting to bloom too. I have alot of this and it gets thicker every year...it's so pretty! I think spring is finally here!!

One more thing...Congrats to one of my dearest friends, Kim. She got engaged tonight! Her boyfriend surprised her in front of her friends and family. Congratulations!!!!!
We are leaving for Branson in the morning for a little getaway, but when I get back I plan on making more items for my Etsy Store. I hope to find more birds and birdhouses while I'm up that way. Have a great weekend!!

More Spring Arrangements In My Etsy Store!

I wanted to do a quick post and show you four more spring arrangements I made tonight and just listed in my Etsy Store. They are all similar to the ones I sold the other day. I only have one more bird and one more birdhouse but will look for more...but don't wait if you see something you like. I might not be able to copy what I have made here. Don't forget about Mother's Day...these would make great gifts!

The two bird arrangements are very similar.

Have a great Thursday!!

~Thrifting~

Hey guys! Mom and I went thrifting the other day and I wanted to show you what I got. We have some neat little stores around here we like to hit when we can. I found this cute little iron bird nest candle holder for $2.oo. Isn't it cute?!
Mom saw these pretty little jars for $4.oo each. They have an oriental look to them. I love a touch of oriental in a room!

I really scored when I bought 12 of these books for $1.00 each! They are really nice and in great shape. I took a picture of all my bookcases, but when I looked at them on the computer they look too cluttered! I think I need to edit...I'll post them soon.
I sold all of the arrangements I posted yesterday, but will be making more and posting them tomorrow. Thank you for your purchases! Have a great Wednesday!!

Happy Spring???

Hey Guys! First I want to apologize for taking an unexpected bloggy break. Truth is... I had a little touch of bloggers block! I sat down to do a post a few times and just decided to go watch a lifetime movie or a reality show on TLC...lol! Have you seen Hoarders? Oh My!! I did come to a conclusion about something I want to change here on my blog...I will talk about it at the end of this post.

Ok...for most of you today was probably a beautiful warm spring day. For some of us Arkansans it was like the middle of winter! I heard it was supposed to snow, but just didn't believe it when the temperature was 72 on Friday. What do I know? This is what we woke up to this morning...

On Friday afternoon I was sunning myself on the hammock!
The flowers were so confused...Luckily this stuff is melting and the weather is supposed to be back up in the 60s and 70s this week. YAY!

Before all of this snow...mom and I were driving and passed this field of daffodils. They are just beautiful! Or they WERE beautiful...

Mom pulled over so I could pick a few (on the outside of the fence :) I just couldn't resist! I pulled down a birdcage on top of my cabinets and came up with this little display. You could also do this with silk flowers.

I am becoming butterfly nuts like my mom! We love butterflies!!
I bought this flag at Kohl's the other day.
I made this wreath last year, and surprisingly it didn't fade too much. I added some butterflies to go with the flag.
I bought this cute little metal sign at Hobby Lobby. I am SOOO ready for spring!! I can't say it enough...especially after today!

Here are some items I just listed in my Etsy store. The arrangements all have something cute in them to make them unique. The flowers are good quality and are very wispy and airy.

I said I was going to change up my blog a little bit. I am thinking it might be easier for me to post more often, but do smaller posts! I have been trying to do one big post a week, but everything I want to show you just doesn't fit and I spend hours organizing a post (although it might not look like it...lol.) I notice that alot of you do this and it seems to work out. So be sure and check my blog more often! I think this will work out better...See you soon!!
