Hey Guys! I'm back from Dallas Market and I had a great time! I took several pictures, but most of the time I was overwhelmed and forgot about the camera! I did get some pictures of trends that I noticed and just some random things I liked. All of the showrooms carry different things and you can find any style you want. The one thing I did notice was that contemporary is definitely in...but so is traditional, old world and well...just about whatever you like. I was also excited about meeting a fellow blogger friend...Donna from "Designs on 47th street." She was so sweet! We both have a floral background and had alot in common. I enjoyed talking to you Donna!
Easter is just around the corner, so I got a few pictures of some spring items...This bunny really caught my eye! Look at these bunny dishes...I really had to restrain myself from ordering some of this collection. Had to stick to my budget...
Oh this was so pretty too... Love the pinks and bright green together.
Now this bedding and hand painted furniture really caught my eye...it is just beautiful for a little girl, but no telling how much it is... I didn't look.
Here is one of the trends I noticed...lots of orange!
I also noticed alot of beautiful painted chests.
Good. Reds are still in...

Greens are really in too.
And lots and lots of blues! Blue is everywhere...
This is in Sherry's house. (My former boss who I stay with in Dallas)She used alot of the blues and silvers. I think she needs that chest above!
This black chest is really pretty...notice the Fleur de lis...they were everywhere.
Looks like animal print is still in!
Roosters were everywhere too...I love this rooster arrangement. Hmmm...I wonder why! lol...
Next I might have to make a rooster wreath!
He's a beauty!
The silk arrangements are looking more and more real. Love all of these colors...
Aren't these cool! you fill them with a special gel and light them up. I bet these are going to be really popular.
I saw tons of butterfly accessories... including jewelry.
Silk panels are definitely hot!
Lamps are getting more and more interesting...this one was really an eye catcher, it would be great in the right room.
I loved this lamp...it's so unique!
Movie themed lamps....very cool.
Contemporary lamps...We saw alot of lamps with the drum shades
I loved this mirrored shade...I saw several lamps with this type of shade, must be the new thing.
I had to get a picture of this...Wow! Very interesting!! I could picture it in a fancy beach house.
I saw alot of these fancy candles...they are beautiful but very pricey!
He He...that's me behind a really cool fountain.
If you have ever been to market and cash n carry then you know how overwhelming everything is. See why it's hard to make decisions?? I am going to be making some jewelry soon and listing it on my Etsy store if you are interested. I couldn't make up my mind, so I decided to just make my own!
We ate at my favorite place...The Saltgrass. It was delicious!
Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the new trends, or at least what caught my eye. lol...Just about anything is in right now. You see it all at Market! I ordered some new ribbon and and some really cute Easter bunnies...so I will be listing some new items (including jewelry) in my Etsy store soon. Have a great weekend!! Thanks for stopping by!

Visiting your blog today is like going window shopping. Love the fun of seeing all the great stuff.
Ew, ew, ew ... I LOVE all of the eye candy !! I would've been salivating the whole time ?! I love the animal print pieces ... the black/gold fleur de lis piece ... and that scrumptuous blue/gold vanity piece. Love the roosters and bunnies, too. I bet your mind is swimming with new ideas, isn't it? Thanks for sharing, Becca
Wow, everything is beautiful. I would love to go shopping there some day. :) Thank you for sharing with us.
Blessings,
Sandra
Thanks for sharing your pictures, Kristen! I'd like to get there at some point myself ~ I've never been. LOVE all the bunny stuff and those large green finials. Those chests look like fun and I think a DIYer could do that ~ it would probably just be a lot of taping off for the stripes. How great you got to meet a fellow blogger, too!
Looks like such a fun time, Kristen. Also, a little mind-boggling with so much to see and choose from.
It's interesting to see so many trends and styles. Thanks for taking the time to share them with us.
Thanks for posting those lovely pics! I love those painted chests. I was wondering if you have ever seen silk flowers which are not on stems...I use lots for my wreaths and swags, but hate to have to cut the stems off...a waste!
So much to take in! Thanks for taking us on a virtual tour with you - can't wait to see what you come up with!
~WOW! Kristen everything is so pretty at Market! I would go crazy and wish I could buy one of everything. Love all the animal prints and gorgeous lamps.

Now I really miss market. I still have my tax number...I really need to find a way to go back. I do remember how overwhelming, exhausting and fun it is. I had the flu once in Atlanta...had to do market anyway, horrible.
I love some of the things in the pictures.

You are BEAUTIFUL, Kristen!!! I love that turq. color on you! :D
Please tell your friend, Sherry, that I love that shot of her pretty home & that I'm impressed that she even covered the light cord with fabric. I can sew...I can do THAT...I just never thought of it. Very classy touch!!!
Thanks for sharing all the pretties that you got to see.
All of it is great but my favorite has to be the little girl room! Absolutely beautiful! It reminds me of the story of the velveteen rabbit. Thanks for sharing!
Sigh....what beautiful decor, Kristen! I bet you were in Heaven. I know I would have been. =)Thanks for sharing ~ Liz

Hey Kristen! I truly enjoyed meeting you in person. You are such a sweet thing. I know we could have had a lot of fun shopping together if it had just been the two of us. You did an amazing job snapping pictures! I was too busy figuring out spring flowers to order plus chatting with my friend who met me in Dallas. Love your photos in the showrooms. Did anyone ask you not to photograph? I've had that happen and I guess that's why I'm a bit leary. You are here to show it can be done! :) Love my frame!
Donna
How fun, Kristen! I love getting a peek at all of the new stuff! And I am so happy to see that frenchy things and roosters are still in! I am tickled that you got to meet Donna! I wondered about that last year when I knew you both were there at the same time. How fun! Thanks for taking us...happy weekend...hugs...Debbie
Very overwhelming for sure. Sue at Sullivan & Murphy was at a show earlier this year and mentioned the orange trend.
That is one trend I will skip.
Wow! I definitely wouldn't be able to control myself there. I loved everything you showed.
I can't wait to see your new creations in your etsy store.
Have a great week, Kristen!
I remember a few of those showrooms. I expecially loved the one with the baby furniture.
Look like you had a good show.
Hugs,
Sue
Thank you for sharing all the wonderful things that you got to see at Market. I loved all the lamps and the roosters. My mil use to go to the Atlanta Mart and I only went one time. I wish I would have gone with you:)
Kristen that place is truly unbelievable. I can see how it would be overwhelming. I think it would take a few trips back to take it all in. Those child's rooms were breathtaking. I had a Beatrix Potter theme when I was little and I did it with both of my girls, but they didn't look like that! Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to see your jewelry creations. They are sure to be spectacular. I will def feature that on my blog!
Kim
I have those bunny plates. Glad to know green, red and blue are still in, as well as animal prints. Can't wait to see what you put in your Etsy.
