Halloween...Christmas... and a Wonderful Giveaway!

Hey Guys! I hope you all had a fun Halloween! We sure did... Chase had some friends over and I took them trick-or-treating. There were tons of kids everywhere! We gave out 6 big bags of candy, wow! Chase is the one on the left dressed as a ninja. They had a blast! See my spooky eyes in the mums...lol.

I put the jack-o-lantern in the wreath for Halloween. I also attached a spider to the bottom. When there is movement he drops down and his eyes flash! hehehehe! The kids get a kick out of it, I've had it for a couple of years now.

Sassy was tired after trick-or-treating. She sat here the rest of the night and watched the kids come to the door.
She sure did get alot of compliments in that costume! This is her second year to be Snow White, we will have to come up with something different next year.

Lets move on to Christmas...here is a mesh/ribbon wreath I just finished. Some of you have said that you can't find the mesh. Our Hobby Lobby has it, but it's in a square package rather than on a roll and it's not as thick. Some local gift shops carry it around here. I just happen to luck into it at a closeout store. I was surprised because it is really popular right now. I would check your local florists, I bet they will be carrying it this year. I bought the ribbon and centerpiece at Hobby Lobby.

Now for a wonderful giveaway! Many of you probably know my friend Melissa from Melissa's Heart and Home. She is having a very generous giveaway...look at all of that great stuff!
You don't want to miss out on this one! Be sure and pay her a visit!!

Thank you all for stopping by!!

Kristen, How are you my friend? I love the picture of the kids all dressed up in their Halloween costumes. Your home looked perfect for the event. Who wouldn't want to stop at your door? I am starting to think Christmas, too! I can't wait to see what you do this year.

Looks like Halloween was a success!! They all look so stinkin' cute! We didn't have many trick-or-treaters as it was rainy and cold. I am loving the new wreath. I looked at our local Hobby Lobby and did not see the mesh ribbon. I'll have to look again (was looking for a spool). I did make a fall wreath using wide sheer ribbons though and it turned out nicely. I did have a question however...do you tie each of the larger pieces in a large bow, or just knot and clip the ends?

awww, Sassy is too adorable. Boo was a 'prisoner' this year! Actually it's the first time we've dressed him up, Kristen wanted to buy him an outfit.
I love your wreath. And glad the kids had a great time, we had a fun one too.
