Fertilizer Friday...My front yard

Hey Guys! This week I'm joining Tootsie for Fertilizer Friday. Please go pay her a visit! She has the most amazing flowers you've ever seen!! I thought I would show you my front yard this week, I don't think I've ever posted it on my blog. Like I said in my last post, Lowe's has all their flowers dirt cheap right now, so I couldn't resist buying more! Some of the ones I had planted didn't survive anyway and I had to rip them up. I recently bought the zinnias, they are one of my favorites and do well in the heat. Boy, those crape myrtles need a trim, that's a good job for hubby!

Miracle Grow!! It does wonders!
I bought some of these at Lowes too .50! (don't know what they're called)

The beautiful zinnias!

We did this little landscape a few years ago. It really added to the yard.

We also landscaped the side of our house a few years ago too. There was nothing here, just the air conditioner unit and electric box. It took forever for me to plan this out with the plants and everything. Kevin built the fence last year and I spray painted it brown. It doesn't hide the unit, but looks better that nothing. It lifts off in case we have to have it worked on, like we did this week! It got to 90 degrees inside, we stayed at my parents.

Some of my neighbors have these flags, so I had to have one too!

I did the wreath in all colors to match my flowers...

A peek inside....see...everything is the same! I haven't moved one thing...lol.

I'll be posting something new within the next few weeks. Have a great weekend!! For more outdoor pictures, visit my last three posts!

~GORGEOUS flowers and yard Kristen!
Your hard work really shows.

You know how much I love vibrant color and your front yard is just spectacular. The way you have layered the beds with so many rows is genious. Did you have a landscaper? The fullness of them looks amazing. It makes me think mine look pretty bare after all. Hmmmm...I may need to work on that and check out Lowes for some flowers for more color in the front beds.

Love your sweet flag area and the wreath you made is outstanding!
I can't wait until fall now to put out the pretty swag you made me.

~Wonderful job!
You should be so proud of it.
I know your neighbors must be inspired and get ideas from you.

Have a blessed evening my friend.

Hi Kristen,
Your front yard is just as beautiful as your back. I love all the colors, very pretty. I like how you sculpted that area last yr and your side looks great. Have a great weekend. I have one of those flags, too. Make a great accent to the yard.

Congrats on your deals at Lowe's! I was pretty happy to find perennials at $2/each - I'm afraid what I would end up dragging home if I came across a 50 cent sale! Love the fence around the air conditioning unit - what a great idea!

Kristen, I was going to ask where you had been, but after looking at the photos of your gorgeous yard, I think you've been doing yard work! Everything looks so pretty. That is a very interesting little purple flower. Wonder what it is. Can't beat that kind of color for 50 cents! laurie

lOOKING good in your YARD! Love the little fence around the AC Unit. Our Lowes has plants on sale but I'm scared to buy them...it's just TOO hot to plant anything here in South Texas this time of year. :)

PRETTY Blog background Kristen! This is so YOU. Love it!

Thanks for the sweet wishes and entering my giveaway. I've missed your posts and am thrilled you will be back at it soon. Yeah!

I'm glad you like my new drapery rods. They were a bit of a splurge and therefore I'm calling them my B-day gift from Alex. LOL!

I'll be ordering a "G" from you soon for baby Grayson due in October. Let me ask Michele to tell me how she wants it for sure.

hi there,

I really like your blog, but I am a web designer and have to say the file load when trying to view your page is too high. I am on high speed dial up and your page is not loading. Each photo is put up at high resolution, which is unnecessary. Your photos should be around 30k each, if you want people to actually be able to view your website instead of having it crash or freeze the machine.

otherwise, it looks fabulous, but I can't have it freeze my machine every time I try to view it. BTW -- the reason it doesn't freeze your machine is b/c these photos are probably cached in your memory.

LOL >> Sorry -- I said I was on "high speed dial up". LOL! NO! I am on high speed cable. sorry about that!

laughing at self...

Doh.
