Part 1 Of My Aunt And Uncle's Beautiful Home

I have a special treat for you! I am going to show you one of the most beautiful homes I have ever been in. It just happens to belong to my aunt and uncle. They had us over on Saturday night for a wonderful meal in their new outdoor space. Oh my...it is something to see! I will be showing it to you on Wednesday along with more of the house in part 2.  Be sure and come back! You will not want to miss it.

Not only is the inside beautiful but so is the outside. It has so much southern charm.

My aunt's decorating has always been an ispiration to me. She mixes old and new and finds the most beautiful accessories all over the place including consignment shops and thrift stores. She truly knows how to put things together to make a beautiful and impressive home.

Here is the entryway...love the staircase.
To the left is the living room. The colors are beautiful in this room...
What a beautiful chest and mirror.

To the right is the dining room. Look at the tall candle holders...they really make a statement. Love this room too...
This is the main living room. It is just beautiful.

Beautiful gold sofa and coral chairs...
The black floral chair is one of my favorites.

Beautiful bird plates and secretary...
Here is a view looking down from the balcony. Wow!
This miror is huge and beautiful! I love how my aunt adds such bold pieces. This is in a hallway leading into the kitchen.
This kitchen is for the rooster lovers! Look at all of the roos up on top of the cabinets.
 Pretty rabbit oils...
Love the pig and rooster lamp.
This is the kitchen dining area...beautiful chandelier and dining table.
This is a downstairs bathroom. The walpaper is so unique! Love it...

Every inch of this house is filled with beauty! I love walking through it over and over because you always see something new. This home is definitely magazine worthy!!

Be sure and come back on Wednesday for part 2 of this beautiful home! You will not want to miss it. Wait until you seen the sunroom and outdoor space. Wow!

(sorry for some of the blurry pics...I was in a hurry and my camera wasn't charged all the way. I think I need to go back and take some day time pics. Don't you? =)

Have a great day!

Share Your Creations Party #59

Welcome to Share Your Creations party # 59! I hope you will link up and join in the fun!

There were a lot of great links last week as always. I decided to feature some of your Halloween projects since it's just around the corner.

I love this layered bean candle holder in Halloween colors by Amanda at My Hearts Desire Blog. She used red lentils, black beans, and small white northern beans to create this look.
What a fun idea for a bottle from Patty's Heart And Home. Love the skeleton hand and bats!

This table by Kathe With An E is fun and a little spooky! All of the plates are different and the glasses are too cute!
Since I am focusing on Halloween this party I thought I would share my little bit of Halloween decor I added outside. I used a flag pole to hang the metal ghost. Who says a flag pole is only for flags? I also added a big ugly orange and black spider on my mum. I added a little ribbon around the pot to try and cover up some of the bad paint job! lol...Yes, my pots need a new coat of paint.

This is on the other side with a trick or treat sign hanging from another flag pole.lol...There is another one of those big ugly spiders and a cute little bat below.

my front porch this morning...

You might remember my Halloween wreath I showed you last week. Well, here it is all lit up! The eyes flash so it was hard to catch them all on at the same time. I think the kids will like it!

Here it is this morning...

What did you create?

You are welcome to share anything you have created. An item, a recipe, a room you have decorated, a vignette, a piece of furniture you have painted and the list goes on and on...
Please add a link back to my blog so others can find the party. Thank you!

Share Your Creations Party # 58

Welcome to Share Your Creations party #58! I hope you will link up and join in the fun.

My post is a little late as you can see. We have had trouble with the Internet being spotty over the last few days. We had our cable company out today so it is finally fixed! I go CRAZY when I can't get online...and to be kicked off right in the middle of something is even worse! lol...

There were so many great links last week! I loved looking through all of them.

 On with the features...

Rhonda at Ramblings of a Southern Girl created a beautiful vignette using an owl she found at a thrift store and painted orange. Owls are the thing right now...cute!

Claire at The Rustic Pig created this cute fall chalkboard and hand painted the pumpkin. Adorable!

Shannon at A Cozy Place Called Home created a pretty outdoor tablescape. I just love the colors of fall...

For my creations I am sharing some new items I recently listed in my Etsy store. The ribbon on this fall lantern swag is embroidered with pumpkins.

This little scarecrow arrangement would make a cute centerpiece!

Here is a little pumpkin arrangement that would look good mixed in with your fall decor!  There are more items in my store and many more to come...I will be making up a lot of fall over the next several days so I can start Christmas! I have had a lot of inquiries about Christmas and plan on having items listed towards the end of this month.

What did you create?

Halloween Mesh Wreath

I wanted to show you my Halloween mesh wreath I recently made for my front door. I ended up using the base and some of the mesh from last year and totally reworked it.  It is full of everything that screams Halloween including pumpkins, ghosts, spooky eyes, creepy hands and spiders. The spooky eyes and hands are battery opperated and light up! I think the kids will like it...just hope it's not too scary!

Here is a closeup...you will definitely know it's Halloween when you come to my front door!

Be sure and come back Thursday for my Share Your Creations party...so many great links last week!!

I'm joining Savvy Southern Style for WOW.

Share Your Creations Party #57

Welcome to Share Your Creations Party #58! I hope you will link up and join in the fun!

I'm still in Dallas but will be home tomorrow. Luckily, I had this post ready to go so you can share all of your amazing creations!

On with the features...

Tammy at A Walk In The Countryside created a beautiful centerpiece for her sideboard using a wreath and a pumpkin tureen.

What a beautiful fall vingette by Shirley at Houspitality Designs. Love the pumpkins with moss on the candleholders.

This candy corn button frame by Handmade By Halani is a cute idea! I've seen something similar done with a Christmas tree too.

For my creation I thought I would show you a fall vignette on my sofa table. I showed you the pumpkins on the tray a while back. I'm still playing around with fall decor...I just thought I was done! Before long I will be changing it to Christmas! Oh my!

What did you create?

Fun And Whimsical Halloween Lantern Swag

I wanted to show you a Halloween lantern swag I recently made for one of my good customers. She asked me if I could make one for her and of course I wanted to accomodate! I actually made two of these and sold the other one before I could list it in my shop!

My supplies came from all over..but the witch hat and most of the ribbon are from Hobby Lobby.

Love the glittered pumpkins and glittered curly sticks from Michael's.

Oh how I can't wait to start Christmas!!! I have so many ideas for these.

I am going to Dallas on Sunday and will be back Wednesday. I am going to market to look for several things including Christmas items. I will be shutting down my Etsy store for a few days starting Sunday. There are still a few things left, but I haven't added much since I'm leaving. If you would like something I can ship it out tomorrow. I am finishing up custom orders and will be on my way!

I will be updating my facebook page while I'm in Dallas so come along with me!

Have a great weekend!

Share Your Creations Party #56

Welcome to Share Your Creations party #56! I hope you will link up and join in the fun!

I know I am stuck on fall right now...there is just so much inspiration out there!

On with the features...

Priscilla made this subway art from an old display shelf and stamps. Cute!

Kathy at Sharing Shadymont used burlap, a tree stencil, and jute twine to refurbish an old pillow she already had. It turned out great!

Ally at No Place Like Our Home has decked out her foyer for fall. Love the metal pumpkins!

Since I'm so into fall right now I thought I would share more items I recently added to my Etsy store. This centerpiece if full of rich fall colors!

I sat this frame by the arrangement and they look beautiful together!

There are a few lantern swags available...more to come!
