My New Blog party...Show And Sell!!

Show and Sell

The other day I mentioned I was going to be starting a blog party. I have been thinking about doing something for a while now...just didn't know what! lol...I know there are alot of great blog parties out there and I link to several of them when I can. I am always amazed at the talent I find out there! There are so many beautiful tablescapes, handpainted furniture and crafts. I am always inspired by all of the creativity!

Blog parties are definitely a way to get your blog noticed and also to have fun connecting with other people. You can meet some wonderful ladies out there! I have noticed an increase in traffic and followers every time I link to a blog party. So....I was thinking about all of us that have Etsy stores and websites. What about doing a blog party to show what we sell? Most parties don't want you to promote your store and I can understand that. However, this party will allow you to do just that! I think this might be a way to get more traffic to our stores and blogs. I know alot of you don't sell anything, but you are welcome to link up too. That's where the "Show" comes in. If you have made something and just want to show it but do not want to sell it that's fine with me! I don't want anyone to feel left out! The only thing I would like to do is keep the items you show handmade....painted furniture DOES count! I know that is a big thing right now... If you would like to show something someone made for you that is fine too...see, I'm not picky! lol...

How will this work?

The blog party will be every Thursday. I was trying not to interfere with alot of the other blog parties, however, there are some everyday! lol...I will have the post up on Wed. nights ready for you to link up. I will be featuring something I have made and your links will follow. I will have more information on how to link up on the night of the party. I have not looked into what linky tool to use yet. It's a very simple process though...I am planning on having the first party on May 12. That's next week! Might as well get this party started!! lol...Let me know what you think and if you are interested. I think this will be fun!

I am not trying to turn my blog into strictly a selling site, I will be doing my normal posts about family, animals, yard and house...etc. I just thought it would be neat to feature other crafters who sell items or just want to join in on the fun. I hope you will link up! Please copy and paste my button to your sidebar and spread the word! Thank you to all of my readers! I appreciate each one of you!!!!!
