Easter Terrarium...New Items In My Etsy Store...And More...

Hey Guys! I have several things to show you today. I'm sorry I haven't been around blog land much lately. I have had alot going on , but I finally had a chance to get some stuff done and get a new post up!

I have showed you my Gingerbread terrarium at Christmas then I changed it to Valentine's, so now it's time to change it to Easter! I will be doing a spring one later on too. Easter is in a little over a month away...I can't believe it! Spring is just around the corner. Yay!
This is so easy and fun to make! The bottom is sand and glitter, but sugar will work too. I bought the cute rabbits at Hobby Lobby.

I added the glittered eggs...
Then I took glittered flowers and glued them to wrapped wire and bent the wire to resemble a stem.

Next I stuck them down in the glitter/sand mix around the bunnies and eggs to create a little garden.

Last...I added some cute ribbon on the top of the jar to add the finishing touch! Have fun with this...there are so many things you can do.

I have been busy making more items for my Etsy Store. Here are some items I just listed...

I mentioned in my last post that I found a rug in a store I had never been in before. They happen to be doing a home show and needed some help with some floral designs. I worked a few days and really enjoyed it! I am going to work a day or so a week as they need me. Here are some of my designs...

Here is our new comfy room...notice anything? I added the iron candle holders on each side of the picture. That wall was too bare! Now we can watch a romantic movie in our recliners in candle light! LOL!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great rest of the week!

The changes for the seasons that you make in your little glass jar are wonderful - this Easter one is fantastic! I have a similar vase without a lid that you have inspired me to decorate. Your tassels/frames are gorgeous and so appropriate for the Easter/Spring season! LOVE the new changes to your TV room!! How wonderful that you get to make those terrific florals for that store - you are a natural and they were lucky to get you!

Kristen the terrarium is so precious! You always make the the most adorable displays in them. I just love it! The candles look gorgeous on the wall. It does fill it well.

You are making the prettiest Easter tassels for the Spring! I'm going to take a look at your Etsy shop. I may have you custom make me one for our home office. I'm thinking...*Smiles*

I am having the worst time with my blog lately. I have some kind of bug going through it and creating a mess with so many features. Amber who designed the layout has helped me with it and now something else has come up recently. Sigh. She is making some small changes for me today. Fingers are crossed.

Kristen I was laughing just a bit. He! I thought I had spam mail from *Chase Visa* at first. Too cute!

I didn't get anything fixed yet on my blog. Bummer...:( I'm actually surprised I could post. I never heard from Amber all day and I was supposed too. I will have to email her tomorrow.

Talk to you soon. ~Melissa :)

Your church tassels came out so pretty - it is so cool to see the differences between yours and mine! We used the same egg and churches and yet they really don't look anything alike - not really! A couple of mine had some pieces that came off in transit, but I glued it back and they're fine now.

I've had lots of fun with the churches and there is a little church very close to us in the cream and green color and I'm really hoping it will sell good at the craft fair next month!

I really hate that its after Easter and not before, but they didn't ask me for my opinion, so I'll stay out of that one! ;-)

They're all beautiful Kristen!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for the churches!
