Fall Living Room Tour

After much tweaking...my living room is ready for fall! I planned on showing you the living room this weekend, but just couldn't get everything quite right. I didn't have alot of fall items and ended up making several trips to Hobby Lobby and Michael's. And now...I think I am finally done! I revised the mantle a little...it was missing a something. I added some fall leaves and smaller pumpkins to fill in and add more color. There are more pics at the end of this post.

This was the table that was giving me fits! lol...I ended up making the arrangement in the trunk for the middle of the table.

It's very simple with leaves, pumpkins and greenery.

This weekend mom and I went into a high end store we like to visit every now and then. I have never bought anything though...it's just too expensive! However it gave me the idea for the moss ball in the pot on this table. They had a moss ball the same size as this one for $35! Woah! That didn't even include the pot. I decided to make my own for about $8! I added the ribbon and bling to dress it up a little. This would probably be $100 in that store! lol...

I bought the "Thanks" sign at Hobby Lobby. I painted it and added the stones to the corners. It just didn't show up on the table the way it was.

Here is another view of the room.

Everything on this coffee table came from Hobby Lobby. I didn't mean for it to happen that way...lol. I tried so many things, but this worked the best. I love those big acorns in the basket.

Here is the other side of the room. I made the arrangement on this table...it needed some height. I also added fall popouri and pumkins to the bowl. I just had to leave out my rabbit picture!

This picture is a little dark...I brought the glass terrarium in here and added some greenery and a pumpkin along with the dogs. I wanted this table to be more simple since the others are so full.

Here is a revised picture of the mantle. You can see I added the fall leaves and smaller pumpkins. I think it really brightened it up. For those of you who don't know...I painted the picture above the mantle. Still trying to get used to it...lol.

Close-up of the mantle.

Well, that's the living room! I'm working on the dining room and I'm almost done with the kitchen! I will show you soon....

Thank you to all of you who joined my party last week! There were some great entries!!!

I hope you will join me this Thursday!

Have a great Monday!!

I am joining Carrie at Dittle Dattle for Amaze me Monday, Marty for Tabletop Tuesday , Susan for Met Monday, Kim for Wow Us Wednesday, and The Picket Fence for Inspiration Friday.

Kristen, everything is so pretty. Your home looks like a magazine! Love those big acorns on the coffee table. Love the pretty arrangement on the sofa table. I don't understand sometimes why things can cost so much in a store, but we can do it ourselves for much less..the moss ball is a good idea. I have a "give thanks" sign like yours it doesn't show up well on my table either. I should paint mine, too.
Thank you for sharing your lovely home. It is beautifully decorated.

GORGEOUS, Fall living room, Kristen! Where do I even begin ... I love the arrangement you created in the trunk ... the moss ball is fabulous (I recently scored a pack of two at HomeGoods for only $14, I was shocked at how inexpensive!), and I love how you added the smaller pumpkins and leaves into your Fall mantelscape. The HL finds are awesome, as is the arrangement you created for the side table (love that you kept the bunny picture, too). Look forward to seeing more!

Hi Kristin-

I have to tell you that I usually just scroll down when I visit a blog that has a linky party and then make a comment at the end to the host. HOWEVER-As I was scrolling down I saw YOUR little icon entry and thought- WOW- Okay I HAVE to go see this gal's blog. So...here I am- and I am smitten! I am signing up as your newest follower. I am probably your Mom's age, or older, so I love that you do things with your Mom.

You did a wonderful, wonderful job of "fallifying" everything. You are my kinda gal!

Pop by later if you get a chance-I am more about smiles than decorating-and maybe you'll find on there! Hugs- Diana
