The Reveal!!

Hey Guys! It's time for the reveal! This big beautiful home belongs to a good friend of mine. We started decorating her house several years ago after she moved in. I say "we" because my former boss and friend Sherry helps me. This house is a 2 day job and it definitely takes the two of us to get it done. Some of you might remember it from last year too...it got a lot of attention! This year we decided to redo the garland on the staircase. Some of the lights were out and stuff was starting to fall off. So we found some beautiful ribbon, poinsettias, glittered leaves, and hanging beaded berries. It took me about 6 hours to put everything together. Those stairs go on and on!
Here is a closeup of the ribbon and beads...they are beautiful!
This is the mantle in the formal living room. I added some beautiful rhinestone garland and a little bit of the ribbon in the staircase to tie everything together.

This tree is big...but not as big as the last tree I decorated! Sherry worked on this tree while I finished the garland.
I did the top of the tree and added the new ribbon. I'm the one that gets up on the ladder! lol...
Isn't this home something??!! I think I can fit my whole house in this room! lol...

This is in the dining room... I made the large arrangement on the table.

I decorated the chandy with red glass like berries and ornaments.

This garland is in the family room.
I love those hanging beaded berries!
This tree is so fun with lots of cute ornaments!
This garland was so heavy and hard to put up but we finally succeeded! I should have taken more pics of the outside, there is more!

I hope you enjoyed everything and maybe came away with some ideas for yourself! I am worn out!! I have a craft show coming up on Sat. so I will be busy working on it. I still have another house to decorate on Friday too. I will post more pics soon!! Thanks for stopping by!

This is just gorgeous, Kristen! If I could at least get my bannister garland to look half as good as this one, I'd be happy. And it's not so much the garland as the draping it on the bannister!

Kristen, Just an absolute beautiful decorating that you and your friend pulled off. The mantle piece was just fabulous with the ribbon and all the little details of stars, ornaments etc.
The entry door is so awesome and did it come in two pieces? Most of the ones I have done come in two pieces. Great job and great docorating.

Kristen I have a Christmas decorating question? How do I place the lights on stair garland if I don't have a plug nearby? Battery? Do the battery lights still look pretty and how do you hide that they are battery operated? Yours all look amazing that you have done and so sparkly. I was wondering how to do this.
Where do they sell them if that's what I need to buy.

Thanks, Melissa :)

PS I do LOVE my Christmas frames!
Thanks again! You make us all happy with your talents.

OMG...everything looks GORGEOUS! You certainly have a knack. The staircase is beautiful. I think Christmas is the perfect time to bring out ALL things sparkly.

Happy Holidays!

Each room is amazing! Would you share how you created the tree topper? I'm looking for something different this and I love this look. Sorry, one more quick question ~ any suggestions on garland if you don't have an outlet nearby?

Have a wonderful weekend ~ good luck at the art show.

Oh Kristen, this is breath taking! Everything looks gorgeous! And yes, you gave me an idea-the idea that I need to have you come decorate my house for Christmas! My wonderful 3D Santa arrived safely. My f-i-l has been in ICU an hour away, so I've not had much time for visiting blogs. I'm sorry I haven't been over to tell you how much I love him. He will definitely show up when I post my humble Christmas decor. Hope you and your husband are doing well. laurie
