Happy Thanksgiving! A little Christmas Decor to look at after the Turkey Dinner!

Hey Guys! I finally had a break to do a post...whew! I have been really busy decorating houses and getting ready for the show I had this past weekend, it went GREAT by the way! I sold a lot of stuff! I am working on replenishing for the next show.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I have it easy, we are going to my aunt and uncle's house and all I have to bring is the rolls...yipee! She is a wonderful cook! I thought I would post a few trees Sherry and I decorated this week so you would have something to look at after the big turkey dinner and maybe get some ideas for your own tree. I bet a lot of you are putting your tree up this weekend. This lady had all of the beautiful decorations and wanted us to put everything together. I love the whimsy of this tree! It has a little bit of everything...those big presents really set it off, they are actually containers.

In my next post... (which should be Saturday or Sunday when hubby gets my tree down) I will show you how to do a tree topper with all the fun stuff coming out of the top like this one. Several of you have asked me about that.
This little tree turned out cute! It is in the guest bathroom and is done in shoes and purses. It's painted to look like a shoe store...it's so unique!
Here are some frames I had at the show. I sold several and I also sold a lot of the initial frames. I have several custom ones to make.
I showed you this wreath in an earlier post. I will be making more of these for my next show.
I also made some tassels and found the perfect little stand to hang them on.
Look for my tree topper post soon! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving, Kristen! I'm glad you don't have to cook today & can rest up a bit from all your hard work. I was thinking of you as I put up my tree & various decorations, imagining how difficult this would be to do for other people, day after day. My hat is off to you, Hon.

I look forward to hearing how you do the tree topper. My little angel that I've used for years is getting worn & sad looking. I could use something different!

I'm glad to hear your show went well, but I'm not surprised. You are very talented & do some wonderful work.

Happy T'day & don't eat too much!

fondly,
Rettabug

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Kristen! I am looking forward to your post on the toppers. These trees look great! I love that bathroom with it's little tree ~ how whimsical is that. I need my hubby to bring my tree up today before he heads off to work {Black Friday}, so I can get started on mine.

Gorgeous decorations Kristen! What a beautiful and unique shoe tree! That is so pretty.

I would love to buy a festive Christmas tassel! Do you still have the Santa one I see peeking out in the back? You can email if you have time.

Happy Thanksgiving! ~Melissa :)

Hi Kristen,

I know I say this in every comment, but you are one of the most talented women ever! I love that shoe/purse ornament tree. Your frames are the best!

Are you going to be listing any of those wreaths in your Etsy Store? I want one for my front door.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thank you Kristin for posting the instructions on how you made your bow topper. I need to find a few extra items to put in my gingerbread tree topper to make it look as sparkly as yours. Again, thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge and skill. Merry Christmas!
