Tablescape Thursday...Tulips, Birds and Butterflies...Ready For Spring!

Hey Guys! I hope your week is going well! The weather has been nice for the past several days and has put me in a spring decorating mood! I have been wanting to join in on Tablescape Thursday for a while and finally got something together. Head over to Between Naps on the Porch for a list of all the participants.

I decided to go with springy citrus colors...the napkins gave me my inspiration. I bought them last year at Dillard's. They have little tulips on them and I found the perfect fresh tulips at Wal-Mart for the centerpiece.

P.S. I just realized I forgot the silverware and I already loaded all the pictures below, so I uploaded some with silverware at the top of this post...lol! Can you tell I don't do many tablescapes? Just try to look over that little mistake ;)

I think I did that once before...oops!
I wish these tulips would last forever!!

I added lemon and lime slices down in the water since I was going with citrus colors. I bought the little birdies at Hobby Lobby.

The coral colored dishes and glasses came from Wal-Mart. The glasses are plastic but it's sure hard to tell...
The placemats and green plates are from Pier 1 Imports. I love that place!

I wish those tulips would last forever, but since they won't I'll have to use my backup silk arrangement. lol...I've had this on my table for a while, but changed it up a little for spring. Look at the pretty butterflies...

I will be making some arrangements with birds and butterflies for my Etsy store soon.
These butterflies just make me happy!!

Now for my spring terrarium...more birds and butterflies!

The bottom of the jar is filled with moss and rocks... then I added some willow, grass, birds and butterflies.

I topped it off with some pretty ribbon and more butterflies...Ahhh...this says SPRING!

Thank you for your visit!! I hope it's warm in your neck of the woods! Have a great rest of the week!

Spring Rabbits...Easter is Coming!

Hey Guys! I hope you are having a great start to your week! Looks like spring is on the way! The weather is getting so much warmer here in Arkansas. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 70s! YAY! I'm sooooo ready for warm temps. I can't wait to get flowers planted on the patio we built last year...and our new trees will start blooming soon too. We bought them last year after the season, so I am anxious to see what they look like in bloom!
I wanted to show you some of my rabbits. Now you have all seen this arrangement a million times, but every time I post it it's always just a little bit different...lol. I found this cute rabbit at Market in January and ordered some smaller ones to sell in my Etsy store. Isn't he cute? I ended up adding the green cabbage roses and little white daisies to springorize it just a bit more.

I also ordered this cute bunny at Market, he watches me wash dishes...lol. I found the "Spring" sign at Hobby Lobby last year.

I have had this little guy forever! He's been knocked over a few times, but he glues back well.

The rest of my rabbits stay out all year. This little rabbit oil painting sits behind the love seat. It's one of my favorite accessories and has been here since we moved in.

I bought these little guys at Kirkland's several years ago, they sit in my bookcase.

My favorite clock!
This was a box, but I broke the lid and it became a container. See the little rabbits on the bottom?
I am planning on participating in Table scape Thursday so I will show you my springy table then. I will also be showing my spring terrarium...hint: birds and butterflies.
Over the past few days I made a few more items for my Etsy store.

These little rabbits are just adorable!

See how cute they all look together?? ;)
I am really enjoying my new job! I worked today doing some custom designs and more arrangements for the store. I will take more pictures...this store is just beautiful! They have so many great items. It's still funny how things work out! Now I have extra money! Hubby is afraid I will be bringing new things home...we'll see. ;) I took this picture as I was running out the door today.
Please check back on Thursday for my little spring tablescape and terrarium!! Have a great week!

Easter Terrarium...New Items In My Etsy Store...And More...

Hey Guys! I have several things to show you today. I'm sorry I haven't been around blog land much lately. I have had alot going on , but I finally had a chance to get some stuff done and get a new post up!

I have showed you my Gingerbread terrarium at Christmas then I changed it to Valentine's, so now it's time to change it to Easter! I will be doing a spring one later on too. Easter is in a little over a month away...I can't believe it! Spring is just around the corner. Yay!
This is so easy and fun to make! The bottom is sand and glitter, but sugar will work too. I bought the cute rabbits at Hobby Lobby.

I added the glittered eggs...
Then I took glittered flowers and glued them to wrapped wire and bent the wire to resemble a stem.

Next I stuck them down in the glitter/sand mix around the bunnies and eggs to create a little garden.

Last...I added some cute ribbon on the top of the jar to add the finishing touch! Have fun with this...there are so many things you can do.

I have been busy making more items for my Etsy Store. Here are some items I just listed...

I mentioned in my last post that I found a rug in a store I had never been in before. They happen to be doing a home show and needed some help with some floral designs. I worked a few days and really enjoyed it! I am going to work a day or so a week as they need me. Here are some of my designs...

Here is our new comfy room...notice anything? I added the iron candle holders on each side of the picture. That wall was too bare! Now we can watch a romantic movie in our recliners in candle light! LOL!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great rest of the week!
