Fall Mantel 2015

Well, it's been a while! You know you can always find me on Facebook!
Are you ready for fall? I sure am. I love the rich colors of fall along with the nice weather!
I made the wreath using pumpkins, sunflowers, berries and foliage. I added a berry garland and poked in some moss balls and pumpkins. I used the bird pictures on my previous mantel, but decided to leave them once I hung the wreath. They just looked like they were meant to be!  I needed something tall on each side and since I have done lanterns for the past two years I was on a mission to find something different! I found the wheat at Pier 1 Imports and dressed them up with ribbon and pumpkins. I also had the moss balls in the metal urns on my previous mantel. I liked the way they looked, but they needed some color so I added some fall leaves around the bottom. I'm still working on the rest of the house and will post pics next week.

So beautiful! I love it all! Your blog is one of my favorites, just wished you would post more often because I still live in the ice age and do not have any social media accounts.

I love your big wall above the mantle and all the space you use so well. This looks amazing, so colorful. I took off my summer seashell hurricane's and added a touch of fall leaves....it pales, I mean PALES, in comparison. Thanks for the inspiration to do more!
