I'm Back From Dallas And I Have Alot To Show You! Come And See...

Hey Guys! I'm back from Dallas! I've been back a few days, but came down with a bad cold and have not been up to par. I'm feeling better now though! I have lots to show you...including market, my friend's beautiful house and some cute watches I bought and will be selling here on my blog. Let's start with the biggest surprise...I met Teresa at Grammy Girlfriend and Grammy a Baby Changes Everything. She was so sweet and I was so happy to meet her in person! If you have never visited her blogs you must! What an amazing and talented lady she is!

We have been talking for several months and she has even bought some things from me AND she even helped me plan our Disney Vacation. She was such a big help! I knew she went to market all the time, but she had told me in a recent e-mail that she was going in Oct. I was not looking for her and was amazed and pleasantly surprised when she walked up to me in a showroom and said my name! I looked at her tag and couldn't believe it was her!! What a great surprise!! My friend Sherry and I even ran into her the next day too. We talked about decorating houses for Christmas...those of you who read her blog know how talented she is. It still boggles my mind to think about decorating 75 houses! Yes! 75! She is definitely organized and has lots of energy to be able to decorate all of those. Sherry and I have about 10 and that is enough for us! lol...

I have gone to market for more than 10 years and I'm always amazed how fabulous the showrooms are decorated. They are just amazing! I thought I would focus on Christmas this time and snapped several shots of trees and mantles. I am really loving the flocked trees! Be sure and click to enlarge these pictures...there is alot of detail.

The gingerbread themed trees are everywhere!

Lots of sparkle and glitz!

Love all the fun colors on this tree!

Wow! These trees are loaded...See the elves crossing the trees?

Love the candy canes coming out of the tree! This one is one of my favorites...

Ruff! Ruff! Isn't this the cutest?

I love the large gingerbread men on this tree!

Another favorite...

Very elegant!

Traditional and classy!

More Gingerbread...they are everywhere. Cute! Cute!

Very fun and colorful!

Sophisticated and elegant...

These two mantles gave me some ideas!

Now I want to show you some of Sherry's house. Those of you who read my blog know that I used to work for her and she now has a beautiful house in Dallas that I have shared with you before. She keeps adding beautiful things, so I had to update some of the pictures. I made her this arrangement a few months ago. She found the mirrored container and wanted something elegant for her dining room table.

I thought this was a neat idea! She put napkin rings in the jars for something different...love it!

There is one of my bird tassels hanging on the beautiful mirrored chest.

I love this shot of the room... Looks like a magazine

Now look at this bedroom! It is so elegant and glamorous! I love everything about this room including the mirrored furniture, monogrammed pillows and gorgeous lamps! This room has it all...

Wow! I love how the bed reflects in the mirrored armoire.

This is the bathroom off of the master bedroom. It is gorgeous too! Everything is done to perfection.

I love how this chandelier matches the one in the picture above the doorway. Attention to detail...

Sherry keeps her twin grand kids alot. They are adorable by the way!! They are a boy and girl...Lake and Allie. She decorated their room in blues and soft yellows. It is so cute! She hand painted the little nesting tables to match.

I just love her house! Sherry is an awesome decorator...as you can tell.

My aunt had one of these cute watches on the other day and it really caught my eye! She bought it here locally at a popular gift shop. As I was at market hitting the jewelry floor I noticed them. There were ladies buying them up like crazy so I had to grab some too. I knew I wanted one and thought some of you guys might like one too, for yourself or for gifts. They are made out of a jelly material, which is very comfortable. I thought I would try a few, but did not get alot. I have some small faced, like the one I'm wearing, and I have some big faced. If you would like one they are $16 plus $2.50 shipping.(cheaper with shipping than they are here in town) These watches come in tons of colors, if I get several requests then I might be able to pick more up in Oct. Just e-mail me if you are interested. Click to enlarge for a better view.

I haven't had a chance to fill my Etsy store yet, but will be working my tail off over the weekend to get some pumpkin arrangements, frames, and tassels made. I brought lots of things back from market and I'm really excited to get some things made and listed. I have some scarecrow tassels that I think some of you will love! Have a great weekend!!

Make me a pile with my name on it. I definitly want that precious watch just like you are wearing. I'm sure I will want more when I see what you all you make this weekend. I'm going to wear the cross zebra necklace set to the party we are going to Saturday. I'm excited! It is precious with my new gray blouse and white pants. I'm not worried about white after labor day. Great inspiation pics! I almost got into the Christmas decor industry, but God had a different idea. Our custom rug business took over. We are actually exhibiting our rugs at market in Vegas in October. Might someday do the Dallas Market as well. Will see how we do in Vegas.
