My New Coffee Table...Found At A Garage Sale!

Hey Guys! I hope you are all having a great week! I wanted to show you my new coffee table. I found it at a garage sale...ok, it was my neighbor's garage sale so I got first dibs. I couldn't believe they were selling it! It looked really good in their house too...they just needed something with drawers. When I first saw them bring it out I thought of my brother who is needing a new coffee table. I realized it was too big, so I thought...hmmm...maybe I could use it and sell mine to my brother. So that's what I did! There was nothing wrong with my other one, it was really pretty. I just couldn't pass this one up...and since I am their favorite neighbor, they gave me an exellent deal...lol.
It really brightens the middle of the room up...I just love the iron and stone together. As you can see, I love mixing different types of furniture together. I don't know what my style is?? I like it all! The room looks a little busy from this angle. When you are in the house it doesn't look as busy, I think it's just the photography...lol. There's alot of space when you walk in the front door, so it feels more spacious. I am really liking this table! So glad I got it!

Some of you bought a rooster tassel last week... I have six more to make. Let me know if you would like one and I will hold it for you (as long as they last). They will be in these colors, but the ribbons will vary. You should see my craft room right now...well, maybe you shouldn't! I'm in the middle of redoing it. I added an ugly work table and will soon add a bookcase for shelves. I decided I better bite the bullet and think practical instead of pretty...lol. I need more space to work! Now I will be able to get more things done! Yay! Oh, I'm out of roosters for the arrangements, but will hopefully find more soon. I will be making some fall arrangments with pumkins as well.
Have a great rest of the week!

Ooooohhh Kristen! It is just beautiful in your living room. It really has an elegant look to it and the cream marble top is gorgeous. I love the way you accessorized it. The black floral box is so pretty! What a fantastic find! I'm so happy you were able to get it. I'm trying to picture your old one and I can't now. This one looks so perfect.

I'm loving my precious roo tassel! I'll bet you will sell them all.
Show us your craft room. I think it would be neat to see it.

Have a great week!
~Melissa :)

PS Alex just got home from a very late flight. Yikes! Time for sleep.

Love the table...Your room reminds me of mine...from any angle a picture makes it look like STUFF.....is everywhere...We are for sure not into the contemporary look...

I am thinking about seeing the Mouse in early 2011....

I love your new table. I agree with Melissa -- it looks very elegant. I would like one of your rooster tassels. I have ordered from you before and I know I won't be disappointed. Just let me know when it's ready. Thank you so much.

Kristen your new table is gorgeous! I love the way it looks in your beautiful room! It's fun to have a change every now and then whether we need it or not...don't you think;)? The iron and marble are beautiful together and it really does lighten up the space. I see you have moved a few things around too. It all looks stunning!

Sign me up for one of the tassels! I love all of your creations!

Enjoy!
Cathy

The table is beautiful and it looks great in your room. The best part is that you didn't have to do anything to it, move in ready...lucky you!

Great table, Kristen! It looks great in your living room, which I just love! I don't think it looks busy at all. I'll bet you're glad you have a dedicated area to create and craft.

I love this table! It is perfect in your living room. I don't have a particular 'style' either ~ it's what I like, kinda eclectic, kinda funky, kinda traditional ~ take your pick!

I would love something with pumpkins if you could let me know when you are creating with them. I cannot wait to start decorating for fall ~ my favorite season!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend ~

Hi Kristen,
Love your new table. I like how it ties in with the other iron work in the room...like your fireplace screen.
Pictures never do the rooms justice. I'm sure it's more beautiful in person.
