I'm decorated!

Thanks again for all of your sweet comments, I really appreciate them!! I just finished my house today. I have collected lots of Christmas things over the years working at the interior shop, and shopping at Hobby Lobby and other places. I love Christmas! I decorate with a little bit of everything. I like santas, presents, snowmen, etc. I have a gold tree with angels and crosses in the computer/ T.V. room. The little tree in the kitchen is done in gingerbread men, my main tree is in the dining room.

I'll post more pics soon, I took these at night and I don't have the best camera. Thanks for coming by!

See..... I told you I've been busy!

Thank you all for your sweet comments on my christmas decorating. I really appreciate you taking time to leave your thoughts. I hope you are enjoying my pictures and not sick of christmas yet! He He. Sherry and I decorated my friend's house today. I'm going to show you some of it, but I will show you the rest in a later post. We also decorated my friend's parent's house yesterday, I have some pics of their home too. I know these homes are big, but you can incorporate these ideas on a smaller scale, that's what I do in my own home. Here I am decorating one of her trees......

This is her parent's house.

I had to run to Hobby Lobby and get candles and candle holders for the mantles.

These are some trees I decorated for another dear lady, she puts the ornaments on and I just add the ribbon, flowers and lots of ting ting, she loves ting ting!

I hope you all enjoyed the pictures. Now, time for some rest!

I've been busy doing more decorating!

Boy have I been busy, this my crazy week! Here are some pictures of a house we did yesterday. Not only am I busy with other houses, I'm in the middle of a big mess decorating my own. I can't wait to get done and get things back in order! I'll show you mine soon.

This is another big beautiful home. We started doing this house several years ago, we decided to change some of the garlands up a bit for next year, but everything has held up well.

This is in the formal livingroom. She puts candleholders on each side.

This is in the kitchen, the closeup did not turn out. This garland has fruit , berries and cranberry balls. She has the cutest dog!

Hopefully I can post on Friday, we have 2 more houses this week. Thursday we do my good friend's house. It's huge and we decorate it to the max!

Another Fun Award!

I received this bookworm award yesterday from Donna at http://adventureswithtassie.blogspot.com/ and from Tam at http://yakiddyyakyak.blogspot.com/ They are both great ladies!!

Here's how it goes. Pass this on to 5 blogging friends. Open the closest book to you, not your favorite or most intellectual book, but the book closest to you at the moment, to page 56. Write out the 5th sentence, as well as two to five sentences following that...

This is going to be interesting..... I'm in Kevin's T.V./Computer room. He reads really weird books, so the closest one to me is...... Shadow Dale. It's some kind of fantasy book. Ok.....pg.56....
The flask was empty and Kelemvor allowed Caitlin's head to sink into the soft pillows."Now what?"
"Now we wait,"Zehla said."unless we poisoned her it will probably be morning before we see any results."
"If the potion works, will she be fit to ride with us?"Kelemvor said anxiously.
"She will live,"Zehla said. "We will see about the rest".
A little strange huh? Don't you all want to go out and buy this book! The people I give this award to are.......
Have fun doing this, I hope you have a book as interesting as mine close to you! He He. Does anyone know why pg. 56? Just wondering.

I Decorated my Blog and another House!

Merry Christmas! I know it's a little early , but we all know how fast it creeps upon us. Hope you like my blog's new festive look! Sherry and I decorated another house today so I have several pictures to show you. This house is decorated a little more woodsy. They live out of town a little bit, so the theme fits their home. We have done this house for several years now, and everything is still holding up well. Hope you get some ideas!
I love using christmas accessories in my arrangements, I think it adds a unique feel. This one sits on the kitchen island and can be seen all the way around.

This light hangs over the kitchen table. I used part of a garland and added some berries and gold twigs throughout, then I hung the rasberry grapevine balls on the garland.

This is not the best shot of the mantle, but the other pictures were really blurry. It has holly, ribbon and berries throughout.

I'm sorry this is blurry. This is the entry table with an arrangement I made. I love amarylis!

Guest Bathroom with a little christmas.

They just redid alot of ther home and this front door is gorgeous! Ok, I'm going to be critical of myself, look at the right side of the garland, the ribbon must be tucked back behind, DARN! I think that was Sherry's side to fluff out! He He. Maybe they won't notice.

I have much more to show you in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned.........

Another great award and some christmas decorating!

I received this cute autumn friendship award from Lynette at http://lynetteslam.blogspot.com/ . If you haven't vistited her, you should! She is a great lady. Now I have to list 5 things I've always wanted to do:
1. Go on a shopping spree and not have to look at price tags. I can dream can't I?
2. Go to Hawaii. My parents are going in Feb. I'm trying to get them to take us.
3. Go back to Europe. I have been before when I was a teenager, but I was more interested in looking at hot guys than more important things like..... The Coliseum, The Mona Lisa, The Cystine chapel. Sure I've seen all of that, but don't remember much because I was scoping out
the guys! Shame on me!
4. Build a swimming pool.
5. Be content!
The 3 friends I give this award to are......

These are all great ladies. Thanks again Lynette!

I was going to wait to post these christmas decorating pics but decided to go ahead. My former boss Sherry and I have about 10 houses we decorate for christmas. We started today because they all want them done before thanksgiving. This lady's home is big and beautiful! I made the mantle pieces a few years ago and last year I made the garland on the stairs. I did another chandelier in the kitchen but the pics didn't turn out. It had garland and berries wrapped around it with gingerbread men ornaments hanging from it. I hope you enjoy these pictures. I will have more in upcoming posts!

The stairs turned out really pretty. They don't have as much "stuff " in them as I usually put. You will see in my later posts the differences. These stairs go on and on. there is a balcony too.

I think she will put red candles in the candle holders.

First house is done! Many more to go! This one took about 3 hrs.

Did I miss something??

Have you ever felt so embarrassed and stupid! Well, I did yesterday. I knew that we set the clocks back one hour but had not yet changed it on my stove and in my car. I was busy all day working on creations for my Etsy store and glanced at the stove and it said 3:30. It did not dawn on me it was just 2:30. Anyways, I took off to get Chase, remember my car clock was wrong too. I get to the school and there's about 10 cars lined up (they were there early) but there are no kids outside. Hmmmmm........I'm sitting in my car thinking to myself that the people in these cars are not concerned so I must have missed something. I sat in my car pondering what was going on (still nothing dawns on me). Finally,I got out of my car, go inside irritated to see what in the world is going on!! All the ladies are sitting at the front desk, and for some reason there were lots of parents standing around. I asked " Did I miss something, where are all the kids??" They all glanced up at the clock and said " In Class, remember the time changed." Then of course they were laughing there heads off and so were the parents. How embarrassing!! It wouldn't have been so bad if I had done this on Monday, but Wednesday.......Have you guys ever done anything like that? (probably not) He He!
