Sneak Peak

As you all know I have been doing a little redecorating in the living room and kitchen. Well, it's finally coming together. I have been adding in some of the pretty blue color and love it! It looks really good with the colors I already have. Yesterday I went out on a little shopping trip keeping the budget in mind of course. I actually found quite a bit of new items I am very pleased with. I am only taking back one thing! That is really amazing. I am the worst at taking things back!

The pictures below will give you an idea of what I'm doing in here. I'll share more pics and talk about my decorating adventures soon...

I'm leaving for the day again for another shopping trip. I'm going to look for a few more things for the living room and also look for some flowers for the covered patio. I'm ready to get it done too! I'm in a decorating mood! =)

Have a great day!

Hi Kristen! This is so inspiring. I am the WORST at finding/deciding on accessories. Your updates are motivating me to get past that rut. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see how it all comes together!

Oh boy, I can't wait to see more. The coral and blue tones look AMAZINGLY rich combined together. You've sure inspired me. I think I may try adding some corals and blues in my near future. =)

Have a great weekend! xo ~Liz

That blue does look really good with your colors, Kristen! There are some great deals around, too, from what I've seen this week.

I love the touches that you've added, Kristen. I see that you found a place for the HD sunburst mirror! Is that a coffee table with the criss-cross design? Good luck shopping - can't wait to see more!

The touches of blue look great, I am in this same process. Just made curtains, pillows, etc. but need to add accessories, thanks for the inspiration!

The girls in the office and I were just talking about decorating yesterday, she just bought a new home and I just sold and decorating a condo. We agreed that just adding a few touches of color with accessories helps to make a room. For instance I have a yellow sofa and found blue accessories with the yellow really makes a difference.

Notice that bloggers usually talk about decorating a home but rarely a smaller space like a condo.
