Boy...We have had some crazy weather here in Arkansas over the past several days! It was especially scary this evening. Chase had just finished piano and I heard the bad weather was on the way. I couldn't get home fast enough! About 10 minutes after we pulled into the garage we got pounded with large hail! The news said a possible tornado was forming and could be heading our way! Scary! It never quite formed, but did manage to pound us with hail and high wind. The hail in hubby's hand is just a little smaller than a golf ball. About a mile from here they were pounded with baseball sized hail! Wow! This hail was big enough to cause damage to hubby's car. He can't fit it in the garage due to his precious motorcycle...lol.
The hail was coming down and pounding my flowers!
Wow! I haven't even looked at the garden...I hope my plants aren't too beat down. Look at the hammock!
That looks like snow!
I will be back on Wed. evening with a birdhouse tablescape and new Etsy items! Don't forget about Mother's Day!!

Please pray for all of the families that have lost their homes and lives in these terrible storms. I know alot of people have been affected by floods and tornadoes lately.

WOW! How scary!! I am glad that you all are okay!
Yes mam it is scary! I am sitting here at almost 4am awakened from what we think was a tornado. Trees are down on cars and homes, and I am just praying and very thankful that we still have a roof over our heads.
Wow that's some hail! stay safe.
I am glad you are o.k., ya'll have really gotten pounded lately. It has been bad here too, and more on the way today. I am ready for all of these storms to be over!
So sorry to hear of all that bad weather out your way. Those hail storms are scary, damaging and nerve wracking. Glad you are okay!
Wow! Stay safe!
Many Blessings,
Melissa
Kristen, I've seen on the news the bad weather the south has been getting pounded with. I'm glad you and Chase made it home in time before the storm hit. Hail that size can do some damage. We had a storm like that a few years ago and had to get a new roof! We saw all kinds of vehicles with hail damage driving around after that storm. It is frightening when it comes down like that.
Hoping you get some nice weather soon~
I am glad you are all safe! Hail is vERY scary. Praying for all the epole affected by these awful storms! XO, Pinky
So happy to hear you are OK. I have never seen hail that big and can only imagine how scary it must have been. Sending thoughts and prayers.
Kristen that looks awful and very scary. The weather has been so horrible the past few weeks for much of the country. I don't think I remember hearing about this many tornadoes before.
Ohmygoodness ... scary !! I'm glad you and your family are okay ... hope your beautiful flowers are, too !! *Becca*
Wow! Glad you and your family are ok. How scary! We are supposed to be in for some bad thunderstorms tomorrow. I also can relate to the precious motorcycle in the garage, we have the same thing here :)
What a joy to find your blog through Thursday night's tablescapes! I'm in Arkansas too and live in Mountain Home. We had the tornado sirens at least three different times over the weekend. Hubby and I work only 3 blocks from the courthouse where the sirens are and talk about loud! Love your blog and our beautiful creativity!
