~~Dreaming Of Spring~~

Hey guys! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I finally got out a little after being snowed in and having a horrible head cold. I think I'm about over it now...I'm feeling much better. Anyways, I have been dreaming of spring over the last few weeks. I know alot of you are too! I do love the snow and think it's just beautiful. I even get a little excited at the news of a winter storm warning and run to the store along with a million other people! lol...Yes I do! I kind of like the idea that we can't leave the house and we are all stuck here together...the rest of the family might think differently...lol. Chase loves being out of school and getting to play in the snow. And guess what! We are expecting another winter storm on Wed. Yes, the day I am supposed to get my new kitchen items that I am waiting soooo patiently on (NOT) lol...they only deliver on Wednesdays for some reason! Oh well...I am still kind of excited about the snow though.
But....I also CANNOT WAIT for warmer weather!
I want to set pretty spring tablescapes...

Pick daffodils!
Plant my garden!

Sit out on the patio and let the sun shine on my face!
Decorate the covered patio with spring flowers and accessories...
Maybe even buy some new patio furniture...we'll see.
I think Sassy is tired of being cooped up in the house. She is ready to get outside and run and play!

This was my honeysuckle vine the other day...poor thing! It looks so cold! I wonder if the plants and grass are ready for spring? lol...
Well, the good news is that Spring is not that far away...unless you live way up north! Here in Arkansas we usually start having some warm days in March...although we've been known to have some snow in March too. I will try to enjoy the rest of the winter days and keep dreaming of warm weather. Have a great week!!

Sassy is just totally adorable laying in her bed. I hope it warms up for you soon. And I cannot wait to see what your new arrival is. I think I saw on Melissa's blog you said you were getting new appliances? I hope I just didn't let the cat out of the bag :)

Spring comes early here in Central TX too, it's been known to get up to 80 by the end of Feb!! Not that it stays that high during March, but it's warm. Goodness I can't believe the ice on your honeysuckle, amazing that it comes back to life after a winter like that!

I am still loving our cold weather here in central Alabama but my friends are soooo wanting Spring to finally roll in. An early spring just means a longer hot summer to me ;)

Sassy is so adorable curled up in her bed... Miss Scooter gets out long enough to potty, way to cold for her for very long. Thank you for your sweet words about the shop and display.. hugs ~lynne~

Kristen, I don't know why it's been so long since I've visited your blog (real life just gets in the way some times). I'm still kind of enjoying the snow (I know I'd be miserable if we had as much as some people have). Everything looks so clean and pretty in the snow. Sounds like you're having fun getting a new kitchen! I hope I get back over here to see it, because I know it will be wonderful. Stay warm. laurie

Hey Kristen thanks for the nice words on my hair. I still can't decide what to do. I may wait another month or so until it get's warmer and then decide. I use either Pantene or Dove shampoo. I've probably tried every brand out there and always go back to them.

Can you believe we got no snow again today? We were supposed to. So much for the weather reports. Stay warm!
