~~An Elegant Christmas~~ This home is a Must See!!

Come on in...step inside of this beautiful home.

We finally finished this house tonight! Oh my! Sherry and I worked on it before Thanksgiving and finished up the outside tonight. It turned out just beautiful!! I know some of you remember this house from the two years I have been posting my Christmas decorating. It belongs to a good friend of mine and she just happens to have one of the biggest and most beautiful homes I have ever been in. Each year we have added something new or changed something to make it better. This year we added new ribbon to the outside garlands, the old ribbon had just about had it! There are more pics of the outside at the end of this post.

~ Gasp~ This home takes your breath away!

I decorated the light fixture with beautiful ornaments and red beaded garland.

The mantle is stunning.

The tree is full of beautiful ornaments, poinsettias, and berry stems.

Here is a closeup of the top of the tree. It is full of beautiful ribbon and berry stems.

We redid the stairs last year and the ribbon we used is gorgeous! Click to enlarge...there are beautiful beads hanging down from the garland.

The dining room is beautiful too.

Oh my! This is my favorite pic! Look at her dogs...Emma is the tall sleek one and Bo is the cute cuddly one on the floor. Is this not the cutest pic ever?? They are Portuguese water dogs and boy do they have personality! oh...and look at the tree and mantle! lol...

We added some beautiful glittered polka dot ribbon to the tree this year. It really made it sparkle! Click to enlarge.

Aren't these Santa fairies the cutest? They are by Mark Roberts...
We added more ribbon to this mantle this year too. Look at those beautiful beads hanging down!

She has a beautiful kitchen! Love the piece with the Santa and elf! It's by Mark Roberts too.

Here is another pic of the front doors. I just love the new ribbon we added. Wow~

A closeup of the top of the arch
This is not a great pic, but we added the greenery behind the bows on the lights.
Yes, we hung that giant wreath tonight too! What a beautiful home!!!

~~My Booth at the NWA Boutique Show~~

Hey Guys! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am recooperating from the NWA Boutique show...Whew! It was alot of fun, but I'm glad it's over. lol...I sold alot of items so I was very pleased. I was in such a tizzy that I almost forgot to take pictures. I'm glad I remembered...but I was in a rush so they are not the best. You might recognize the green desk and hutch I displayed some of my items on. We hauled it up along with a few more pieces of furniture. I could have used more display pieces...I didn't realize I had so much stuff! lol...Once alot of my items sold it didn't look so cluttered...we did end up moving the things on the floor.

My best sellers were these frames. I wish I had brought more!

I have listed a few items on Etsy and will be listing more over the next week. I have a huge house to decorate that I will be showing too. Busy!Busy!! Have a great Monday!

~~A Whimsical Christmas~~

Hey Guys!! I hope you are all doing well! I didn't mean to abandon you!! I have been getting ready for my show and decorating. Is there really 24 hours in a day??? lol...I'm telling you...I just can't seem to squeeze everything in! The show is creeping up on me and I still have so much to do. I will get it done though...I'm sure!
I wanted to show you the house I decorated the other day. Alot of you have seen this house in the past...I have posted it for the last two years. We added even MORE ornaments to the tree this year and did some cute things in the kitchen too. Every year it gets better and better! This tree took almost 5 hours to decorate! I really enjoyed it...the hardest thing was moving the huge ladder around the tree. I don't know how tall it is, but I can barely reach the top! This tree is fun and whimsical! Ha Ha...if you look out the window it's fall, but inside it's Christmas! I had to start early this year!

Love the cute skirt she found to put around the bottom...perfect!

She has so many cute ornaments!
Here is what I used to make the tree topper. I cut the ribbons to give more of a whimsical look, instead of a bow sitting on top of the tree. I wired them with chenille stems all around the top of the tree. Then I stuck all of the fun stuff in the tree around the ribbons. Did that make sense? I'm not the best at explaining stuff.lol...

Here is a closeup shot of the top of the tree...

This house is very beautiful and decorated in a contemporary style. In case you are wondering...that is a wooden sculpture in the middle of the cabinet. It's very unique!! The stairs turned out really pretty... I added a few more ornaments this year. Love the stockings and lighted presents!

LOVE this kitchen!!! It is just beautiful! I wish I could steal those granite counter tops!! lol...That's exactly what I want in my kitchen. Anyway, look at all of the fun stuff in here! Love the Christmas tree platter and drink dispenser. Too cute! She bought those cute little towels from me. I ordered those for my show.

More cute stuff! She also bought the gingerbread cookie plate and Christmas tree chip and dip from me. Love them!!

Love this light fixture! It was very easy to decorate...I cut garland to fit around the base of the light and added the ornaments and ribbons. I used wire ornament hangers to attach the ornaments and used the greenery to attach the ribbons.
Isn't this cute? An initial for each member of the family...

Her bathroom is cute too...I spy a santa frame!

On another note...I went to my friend's house yesterday to visit her sweet little baby, Lily. Please pray for Lily and her family. Lily was born with a very rare disease and is not expected to live over 6 months. She is 3 and a half months now. The family is celebrating every day of her little life. I know this has to be the hardest thing ever...I can't imagine! She is just the sweetest little thing...please keep this family in your prayers...

I hope you enjoyed the Christmas pics! Are you ready to start decorating?? I know we all get caught up in the hype...but remember the reason for the season!! Have a great week!!
