Traditional Christmas Charm

Happy Monday to you! As you can see I have been busy decorating again. This time it was a beautiful older home. I love older homes because they have so much charm! The dining room is done in yellow, red and blue, so we brought out those colors in the decorations. The blue is so striking against the yellow walls. I decorated the tree, spruced up the table arrangement, made the centerpiece out of a wreath for the santa on the buffet, decorated the light fixture. I also added garland to the mantle and set some of her Christmas items around in her other rooms. Love her place settings! They go so well with everything...

I added garland, berries, ribbon and Christmas ornaments to the chandelier...in that order in case you are wondering.

Here is another view of the chandelier

I added Christmas balls and ribbon in the wreath and set the Santa in the middle.

There are a variety of Halmark ornaments, balls, poinsettas and lots of ribbon on the tree.

I used a bow at the top of the tree and added some glittery gold and red sticks coming out around the bow.

I mainly focused on the dining room, but I also hung the mantle piece I made last year.

I ended up making the piece over the Santa picture out of left over garland,Christmas balls and ribbon. There's something you can do with your leftovers!

One more house down and one more to go! We start on it today...

Have a wonderful Monday!!
