Share Your Creations Party # 10

Welcome to Share Your Creations Party #10!!

Share Your Creations

I hope you all had a fun Halloween! I'm still on a sugar high from all of the candy I've been eating! lol...We had a ton of trick or treaters, but still had candy left. I was ready for them this year!

Anyway, I am getting my party up really early this week. I have a ton to do today and we are having my dad's birthday party here tonight...so it's a busy day for me!

I wanted to feature some great project transformations this week.

Carrie at Dittle Dattle is working on a teen lounge for her teenagers. It is turning out awesome!

Penny at Flea market Makeovers made this clock out of a tin plate. Love it!

Diane at Littlee painted this bookshelf and added wrapping paper inside. It turned out great!
Shelley at Calapso in the Country went from a basket of newspapers to this pretty vignette on her coffee table!

Kathryn at The Dedicated House really brought out the details in these finials with a little paint...they look great!
Great stuff! Keep them coming....

I wanted to share this little rooster cabinet that I revamped. I've had it for at least 10 years. It looked so cute in my old house...but not so much in my house now. The paint was chipping too, however, I still loved the roosters! Sooooo.....

I got out my paints and gel stain and went to work. As you can see I painted the top and sides deep red and green. I also added some deeper gold paint on the doors and bottom of the cabinet. Next, I wiped on a little gel stain I had left over from the kitchen cabinets to darken it and give it that aged look.

The last thing I did was paint the little swirls and fleur de lis at the top...free handed it as you might can tell...lol...now I can use it again! Better than being up in the attic...

Ok...What did you create?

You can link any item you have created, any room or outdoor space you have decorated, any piece of furniture you have painted, recipes...and the list goes on and on. Also, if you have an Etsy store you are welcome to add a link to your store on your blog. All I ask is that you add a link back to my blog so others can find the party.

Add your link...

I promise I will be adding alot of new Etsy Store items this week! My store is almost empty!! I have had alot of custom orders so I have been running behind. Also, I am starting on Christmas this week too. No rest for me! lol...I'm going to hit it hard!

  10. Oh my gosh - what a nice surprise to see my vignette! Thanks for the feature! I don't have anything to contribute this week. After the snowstorm, a power outtage and no school because of it for most of the week, I don't have an ounce of creativity left in me! But I look forward to enjoying everyone else's projects!
