I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I showed you the whimsical house the other day, so I thought I would show you something a little more elegant. Sherry and I worked on these two beautiful houses the first of last week.
I reworked this garland this year using the berries and ribbon it already had on it. I ended up adding the ornaments and mesh to give it a different look. I also added the gold ornaments to the topiaries I made a few years back. The owners recently added the beautiful mantle...isn't it gorgeous?
I made this arrangement a few years back too. I ended up reworking it a little to fit better on their new dining room table...which is gorgeous!
I made this arrangement a while back too...I added the green glittery meshy stuff this year. I just love those deer!
This is another mantle in their house that Sherry and I worked on together. The garland started out as ribbon and greenery but we thought it needed a little more pizazz so we added the glittery flowers and berries. Oh, and look at those cool glittered chandeliers the owner found...aren't they neat?
I made this arrangement a while back too...I added the green glittery meshy stuff this year. I just love those deer!
Yes...I made this too. lol...Love the amaryllis!
This is in another house...The cream and gold is so elegant together! I made these pieces a while back and they have held up well. (I hate when my pics are crooked...sorry about that)
This chandy is very elegant with the ornaments and ribbons...
This is the outside of the house. I used a wreath in the middle at the top and attached it to the garland for something a little different. Love the big ornaments in the middle and corners!
I totally forgot to take some pics at this house...I got in a hurry towards the end. Sorry about that!
I still have alot to show you though...We have a house scheduled in the morning and one in the afternoon. The one in the afternoon is a biggie and will take two days! We have one more small job scheduled after that, then it's Thanksgiving! Wow! Already? I plan on doing my house somewhere in between...lol. I am also going to do a new post on decorating a Christmas tree! I have had alot of e-mails about adding mesh and making tree toppers. So stay tuned for my tutorial!!
One more thing...thank you all for your nice comments lately! I appreciate each one...when I get a break I can't wait to get back to visiting you all!!
Have a great Monday!!

ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful. I still have up nothing but Thanksgiving and now I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at all the work I must do this weekend! I think my Christmas decos might be slim this year, since I won't be at home much! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteThese are all beautiful, Kristen! Great inspiration! Once I get my garlands and wreaths out, I'm going to add to them this year. I've seen lots of great ornament sets {varying sizes} and embellishments that I'd love to add in.
