Hey Guys! I have several things to show you today. I'm sorry I haven't been around blog land much lately. I have had alot going on , but I finally had a chance to get some stuff done and get a new post up!
I have showed you my Gingerbread terrarium at Christmas then I changed it to Valentine's, so now it's time to change it to Easter! I will be doing a spring one later on too. Easter is in a little over a month away...I can't believe it! Spring is just around the corner. Yay!
This is so easy and fun to make! The bottom is sand and glitter, but sugar will work too. I bought the cute rabbits at Hobby Lobby.
I added the glittered eggs...
Then I took glittered flowers and glued them to wrapped wire and bent the wire to resemble a stem.

Next I stuck them down in the glitter/sand mix around the bunnies and eggs to create a little garden.
Last...I added some cute ribbon on the top of the jar to add the finishing touch! Have fun with this...there are so many things you can do.
I have been busy making more items for my Etsy Store. Here are some items I just listed...
I love the new tassels and how fun for you to work at something you love! The Easter jar is darling!

The changes for the seasons that you make in your little glass jar are wonderful - this Easter one is fantastic! I have a similar vase without a lid that you have inspired me to decorate. Your tassels/frames are gorgeous and so appropriate for the Easter/Spring season! LOVE the new changes to your TV room!! How wonderful that you get to make those terrific florals for that store - you are a natural and they were lucky to get you!

I am having the worst time with my blog lately. I have some kind of bug going through it and creating a mess with so many features. Amber who designed the layout has helped me with it and now something else has come up recently. Sigh. She is making some small changes for me today. Fingers are crossed.
Kristen, Everything is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the terrarium and the new tassels.....sorry I didn't get back with you on the tassel...will contact you again soon.

Kristen I was laughing just a bit. He! I thought I had spam mail from *Chase Visa* at first. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get anything fixed yet on my blog. Bummer...:( I'm actually surprised I could post. I never heard from Amber all day and I was supposed too. I will have to email her tomorrow.
Talk to you soon. ~Melissa :)
Hello sweet lady...
ReplyDeleteI just had to come by and let you know that I received my beautiful toile bird tassel in the mail yesterday, my friend! Ohhhh Kristen, it's absolutely gorgeous and sooo perfect for my home!!! I already have it hanging on the door of my china cabinet in the dining room...it's fabulous!!! Girlfriend, you did a magnificent job creating this tassel! I just squealed when I opened the box and unwrapped my pretty tassel! Thank you!!!
Well my friend, it sounds like you have been really busy...doing up all those gorgeous floral arrangements! They really are spectacular!!! That store is very blessed to get you! Ohhh...and I love, love, LOVE your Easter terrarium!!! It's absolutely precious...so adorable! Love the beautiful ribbons that you chose to adorn the top!!! Thank you for sharing your pretties with us, Kristen! You're such a creative and talented lady!!!
Warmest wishes,

I love your terrarium and those floral arrangements are absolutely gorgeous! Will you be selling some arrangements in your etsy store?
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful!! Love how you decorate!
ReplyDeleteLovely home...I love all your tassels too! I'm Meme from Screaming Meme...It is so nice to meet you! If you get a chance, stop in and say Hello! Meme
ReplyDeleteYour church tassels came out so pretty - it is so cool to see the differences between yours and mine! We used the same egg and churches and yet they really don't look anything alike - not really! A couple of mine had some pieces that came off in transit, but I glued it back and they're fine now.
ReplyDeleteI've had lots of fun with the churches and there is a little church very close to us in the cream and green color and I'm really hoping it will sell good at the craft fair next month!
I really hate that its after Easter and not before, but they didn't ask me for my opinion, so I'll stay out of that one! ;-)
They're all beautiful Kristen!
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for the churches!
Would you be interested in doing a tutorial on my blog sometime?
ReplyDeleteI have fun tutorials on Thurdays, so far they have all been guest posts-I am booked through April but I would love to schedule you for April 8 or April 15--let me know ASAP. You are the first person I am contacting, as I start to book April and May. I always book up really fast.
