I did some fall decorating over the weekend and thought I would show you a few things I worked on. I put this little vignette together on the island. I wanted to do the layered corn, peas and beans in the vase like I've been seeing on Pinterest and other blogs. I decided to make a floral arrangement out of it using fall florals, berries, and sticks. I was afraid poking everything into the mixture might mess up the layers. However, I poked them through the middle and everything stayed secure.
I used a tray to display pumpkins, berries and fall leaves in my entryway.
I added some fall pillows to the sofa and candleholders and apple cinnamon popouri to my end table.
More to come soon...
Have a great Tuesday! Joining Savvy Southern Style for WUW and The Everyday Home for the Better Late Than Never Fall Party.

ReplyDeleteSo beautifully festive, Kristen! Love your splashes of Fall. And, I love how instead of adding a candle, you added a floral arrangement mixed in with the beans! Great pillows ... look forward to seeing more!
ReplyDeleteAll of your beautiful autumn decor blend in perfectly throughout your rooms, even your animal print table! How lovely it is!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness it's all so lovely but...
ReplyDeleteI'M NOT READY!
I feel like this summer has just FLOWN by and while Fall is my absolutely FAVORITE time of the year, I feel like I've had no time to enjoy summer at all :( No walks along the river eating icecream. No Trips to the amusement park. No trips to the beach. No anything... really.
*sniff sniff* So as beautiful as your layouts are, it makes me sad! LOL
Everything looks so pretty Kristen! LOVE that gorgeous floral arrangement!

ReplyDeleteI just love it all! ...very pretty! :)
ReplyDeletePretty! I like how you placed the flowers in with the dried bean mix.
ReplyDeleteKristen, you have such a way with flowers and ribbon. Absolutely love your updates! I also did a couple of Pier 1 containers with assorted beans, etc. Wish I could drop in flowers like yours and have them look like something, haha! Luckily, I can enjoy them with candles. Can't wait to see what you put in the shop next! Cheers, Nicole
ReplyDeleteI love how the vase turned out with the layers, Kristen! I'm glad you mentioned that the flowers did stand up in it, too. I would have been worred about that not working out myself.
ReplyDeleteYour fall decor is beautiful! Too early for me since it is still in 80-90 temps....Will have to wait for awhile!
