"Flaunt your Red" (a little late)

Hi guys! Please excuse my tardiness....I tried all day yesterday to get this post up! Blogger is giving me fits! Stacey at "Poofing the pillows" is hosting "Flaunt Your red" for Nancy. Thanks Stacey! I will be posting my parent's deck next, I just couldn't miss out on the red!
How about that motocycle post? Did I surprise some of you? Kevin was a little upset I didn't take a good picure of the bike. lol...He's so proud of it...always shining it up.Ugggg.....You might be seeing more of it in the future.
On with the red...

Red Geraniums in a colorful pot...look how they are growing towards the sun.
Red begonias around the birdbath. By the way, I picked up that iron ball today at Hobby Lobby and super glued the bird (I already had) on top. It just needed something!
Red pentas....butterflies love these!

Red hibiscus....I wish it bloomed everyday.

And my new red striped hammock! We vowed not to buy anything else for the backyard this year, but we decided this was a must! Boy is it comfy! Much better than the old swingset we had here!

Have a wonderful weekend!!! It's going to be near 90 degrees here tomorrow. It's getting hot!

  11. Kristen, your flowers are beautiful, but that hammock just looks like THE greatest place to relax. If you find me in the hammock in your yard some morning, don't be surprised, and please don't wake me! laurie

  12. I love the hammock; my is on the covered porch upstairs off the great room. But I think it will be moved down stairs on the back patio covered porch. I love to lay out there at night. I am thinking of putting a black wrought iron swing on the top back porch. Your yard is georgous.

  20. Hi Kristen,
Thanks for coming by and your nice compliment on our home office. I had just recently added the new drapes. Boy did it need them badly. The old ones were ugly to the max.

I hope all is going well with you. I don't see as many posts from you lately. I know it's alot more fun to be out in all the nice weather instead.
So many bloggers I met when I first started seven months ago are no longer posting at all.
It really does take up lots of time I know.
    I haven't heard from Lynne,Lynette,Tardevil,Loriand Kristen(Nothin')in sooo long.
Sigh....Maybe they will all come back soon.

I hope you have wonderful weekend.

  22. I understand. If it wasn't for weekly events I would have run out of things to post months ago as well. I've been really burned out and tired lately.
It really is time consuming and impossible to keep up with everyone's posts.

    Have a great weekend.
    ~Melissa ;)

I think I'm actually going to create a TT this week for the first time in a long while.
