My Entryway With A Colorful Spring Mesh Wreath

Happy Friday!

I hope you have a fun day planned today. I will be working in the yard yet again. I am putting down the mulch today...not the most fun job in the world. However, I love how clean it looks and it makes the flowers show up better too. Before I get started I thought I would show you my entryway with my mesh wreath, flowers, new flag and rug.

I actually made the wreath last year but freshened it up the other day. I added new ribbon, butterflies, and silk flowers. It really stands out on the front door. I have also planted flowers in the beds to coordinate with the wreath. It is very colorful around my house this spring!

The flowers are called Million Bells. They were actually in hanging baskets, but I took them out and set them in pots. They are my favorite flowers!
I purchased the cute flag at The Home Depot.
I purchased the colorful rug at Pier 1 Imports. I just couldn't pass it up...I knew it would be perfect with the flowers, wreath, and flag.
That's my colorful entryway!

I'm off to put down the mulch. At least it's not too hot and there is a nice breeze. Maybe it won't take all day...

The Share Your Creations party below is still going on so feel free to add your link!

Have a great day!

Beautiful, Kristen! I think Abundant Spring would be an appropriate title for that wreath! : ) Love the colors you used and your flowers look wonderful. I've sometimes taken hanging baskets and transplanted them into containers, too.

Everything looks so pretty! I need to change the pansies that are in pots by my front porch to something for summer. After seeing your million bells, I think I'll try those this year.

I work with flowers and wreaths often, but I haven't tried making a wreath with the mesh as of yet. I love how yours looks. I also love the doormat/rug. I've been looking for a new one for my front door. So many of them leave a stain when they get wet and the ones that don't are often UGLY! I love yours!

I love Million Bells - but I can't seem to find them here in South Central Florida - maybe it's too hot for them. Right now we have wave petunia's and they are doing great. I don't know how much longer they will last, but for now it's nice.
Hugs -
Carol

Very colorful, pretty, the flowers almost look like petunias a little bit. I know what you mean about trying to resist stuff at Pier one, pretty bad when you walk in and they greet you by name ;)

Oh, I just love your colorful front porch! The is wreath is gorgeous - I love how full it is. Million bells are one of my favorite flowers - they bloom so profusely. Love that mat that you found at Pier 1 too - it fits in perfectly. Very welcoming!
