Fun in Branson!

Hey guys, we had a great time in Branson. Chase loved it! We stayed at the Grand Country Inn, it's a really neat place for kids. They have an indoor water park, putt putt, game room, and a wonderful buffet! We also went in Talking Rock Caverns and there were NO bats! Thank goodness..... It is a really awesome cave that was discoverd over 100 years ago by some rabbit hunters. It's also a living cave so it's still growing. Chase and Kevin went to the Titanic museum after they dropped me off shopping. I've already seen it, but Chase really wanted to see it again.

Here is Chase at the indoor waterpark.

Acting Crazy!

Every 10 minutes a huge bucket of water spills and all the kids go crazy when they hear the bell sound. Chase is under there somewhere!
This is inside the cave. It was so neat but weird! The tour guide explained how the cave was developed, it was really facinating! I thought this looked like a giant jellyfish.

Chase loved the cave, he thought it was so cool! He learned all about how caves are made last year in school, so it was really interesting to him.

This is the Titanic museum if you ever get a chance to visit one you should, it's really a moving experience. I believe there are more exibits around the country.

This is at the Branson Landing. There are tons of shops including a Bass Pro shop where we spent most of our time.

It was a fun trip, especially for Chase. We live about 2 and a half hours from Branson, so it's not to far and you can have alot of fun on a little money. That's one reason we like it, lol! Have any of you ever been there? I would love to hear from you if you have.
Have a great Spring Break! I'm so glad it's getting warm! Although, there is a chance of snow here on Sat., YUCK!

Love Branson Landing, the Brighton Store is my favorite. Last summer when we were there, we took the ghost tour at Branson Landing. It was o.k., the kids liked it.

We also like the Titanic. My kids' school takes field trips there, so they have been several times. We also like the IMAX.

Glad you had a good time.

Hi Kristen, :)

It looks like you all had a great time!
I have never been but it sure looks neat. I like the main street.

Snow? Oh no...I am ready to start our Spring yard cleanup and the weather keeps changing here too.
It's really cold today.

Happy Spring! :)

We live not far from Branson (45 minutes) and I enjoy going there to shop and just browse around. Have not been to the Titanic but sounds like it is a neat place to go. We enjoy the IMAX and going to Silver Dollar City.

We went to the Noah Musical which was AWESOME & went to Dixie Stampede...the food was amazing! Just found out today from hubby's coworker that there is a humoungus mall in Branson, but we didn't know about it or see it...did you see it??

We've never been to Branson..I want to!

YES, we are very lucky to have a Titanic Exhibit in Milwaukee, which is only about 45 minutes from where I live. We did go see it and to say it was moving is an understatement. It was so intensely sad..time standing still.

Spring break--means nothing to me anymore--kids are grown!

My 12 yr old daughter loved Noah and didn't get bored at all. Guess it depends on the age. Definitly see it next time you are in Branson. My husband's boss said the mall is in the old part of Branson and that there is a Hilton hotel on the very top floor. He said 2 people at his work said that it is awesome. Wish I would have seen it.

Yeah that must be what they were talking about. Wish I would have gone there! I did go to a christmas store in Grand Village shops, but couldn't get in the christmas mood this time of year. LOL

Hi Kristen...it looks like you and your family had a wonderful time! I enjoy seeing pics of Chase and hearing what he enjoys because he appears to be about the same age as my grandson! We have a cave near here...Ruby Falls...and he enjoyed it immensely! I'm putting Branson on my list of vacation spots!!...Debbie

Hi,
We went to the Grand Country Inn this summer! I did a post about it too! However, my boys love it so much...that is all we did.

Good to know the Titanic is worth going to. I wondered.
