Share Your Creations Party #47

Welcome to Share Your Creations Party # 47 four days late! I have to apologize for the delay. I have had major computer problems. I couldn't even go to my blog! Ugg...I also had some other stuff come up that took a lot of my time. All of those things combined lead to no post! So sorry...I think I'm back on track now.
I hope you will go ahead and join the party below.  I will also be posting my regular scheduled party on Thursday.
On with the features...

Liz at Savvy Seasons just moved into a beautiful new home! She has warmed up her kitchen dining area with beautiful fabrics and accessories. She will be adding a chandelier and plantation shutters in the near future. Looking beautiful Liz!  Liz also had the most clicks last week with a total of 239! Wow!

I really thought this was neat...It's made out of an old roof tile! You can read more about this project at  My Creatively Vintage Life.
Sheila at Notesongs is in the Christmas spirit! Look at these adorable little glitter houses she is making. She also has a tutorial on her blog. It's never to early to start thinking about the holidays! They will be here before we know it.

I listed several new items in my Etsy store last night including frames, tassels, and arrangements. The colors in this frame are gorgeous! I am in love with the french bee ribbon. It appears a little pink in pictures but is actually a beautiful copper color that changes with the light. I am extremely picky with my ribbons and only use the best!

I recently found these beautiful crosses and had to make a tassel out of them. This one looks great with my dishes!

This rooster arrangement just sold, but I have two more listed in my store!

What did you create?

You can link any item you created, a room you decorated, a piece of furniture you painted, a vignette,  a recipe and the list goes on and on...

Please add a link back to my blog so others can find the party.

Dressed Up Lantern

You all might remember I posted some fall inspiration I found on Pinterest a while back. It included a lantern dressed with berries, fall leaves and ribbon. I just fell in love with it and could not wait until fall to dress mine up! Using some of my favorite silk flowers, berries, greenery and ribbon I added some color to the top of this lantern for an everyday/summer look.

Visit me tomorrow for my Share Your Creations Party! I hope you will join in the fun! I will be sharing some new Etsy store items I am working on now.
Have a great day!

Share Your Creations Party #46

Welcome to Share Your Creations party #46! I hope you will link up and join in the fun!

On with the features...

This laundry room office nook is decorated so cute with a french inspired theme. Visit Marisa's Pieces for more pictures of her laundry room. Sure would like to have all that storage!

Yum! I bet these peaches are delicious! They are baked with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Visit The Kitchen Is My Playground for the instructions.

I am always inspired by all of the beautiful painted furniture I see in blogland! This little $2.99 table was painted by Kathryn at The Dedicated House

I was at my friend's house swimming today and thought I would snap a few pics for my party. After all, there are a few things I created in her house, like the two arrangements on each side of the mantle. Some of you might recognize her house from my Christmas pictures. It always gets lots of attention! It is stunning!

Love the beautiful bookcases. They are decorated so pretty...I put together all of the greenery.

This bench is for the rooster lovers! Love it.
I made the rooster arrangement for her island several years back. I love the pair together.
Beautiful living room...we decorate the mantle to the hilt for Christmas.

This dining area is off the kitchen. Love everything about this room!  She also has a formal dining room that I did not get a picture of. I'll take more pictures when I'm over there again sometime. The whole house is beautiful!

What did you create?
You can share any item you created, a room you have decorated, a piece of furniture you have painted, a vignette, a recipe and the list goes on and on...

Fall Inspiration From Pinterest

I know most of you are not thinking about fall just yet. After all, it's the middle of summer and it's hot! However, when your in the crafting business you have to always be thinking ahead. I admit, sometimes it's hard and in the past I have waited until the last minute to come up with seasonal ideas. This year I want to stay ahead of the game by starting early. I have found that Pinterest is definitely the best way to find great ideas for just about everything! I think I am becoming addicted....=0

I have found several great ideas for fall and hope to recreate them in my own version. I really like the corn acting as the container around the fall flowers and berries in this picture.  I might try this!
This picture caught my eye because of the pumpkins hanging from the branches. I also like the birdseed in the vases.
(Picture from bhg.com)

I am in love with birdcages and really like this one dressed for fall.

I like the way these candles look with the fall touches of corn, pinecones and greenery around them. I do this with peppermints at Christmas time.

(picture from bhg.com)

I really love this! I think we all have a lantern or two we could dress up. I am planning on doing this in my entryway. There is a tutorial on the blog in the link below.

I really like this centerpiece for a fall gathering. It looks like the pumpkins and candles are sitting in a long wooden container. Pretty!

I hope I insprired you to start thinking ahead! There are alot of great ideas out there! To follow me on Pinterest click HERE.

Have a great Monday!

Share Your Creations Party #45

Welcome to Share Your Creations Party #45! I hope you will link up and join in the fun. I always love seeing what everyone is creating!

This week I thought I would feature some paint projects. Could you imagine a world without paint? I sure couldn't...it transforms and makes things beautiful.

I just fell in love with this painting from Trish at The Old Post Road. She has several beautiful paintings for sell in her Etsy store.

I have got to make a chalkboard using chalkboard paint! Jane at Bluebird 1959 turned a Wal-Mart mirror into this...

This pretty painted and glazed chest was transformed by Gypsy Couture. It turned out great!

Keep those projects coming...

For my creations I thought I would show you some items I just listed in my Etsy store. Finally huh? It's good to start creating again...

I'm still going with the red and gold theme. It's good for everyday and it can go straight into fall. This arrangement would make a great centerpiece. (sure does look good with those curtains =)

 Attention Rooster lovers!
This frame definitely has the french theme going on.
This metal basket arrangement can be hung inside or outside under a covered porch. It's great for everyday and will also go right into fall...For more of my items click HERE. I'm just getting started! Lots more to come...

What did you create?

You can link any item you have created, a room you have decorated, a piece of furniture you have painted, a vignette, a recipe and the list goes on and on...

Share Your Creations Party # 44

Welcome to Share Your Creations party #44! I hope you will link up and join in the fun! These features are from two weeks ago since I was out of the country last week.

I loved this idea of turning a pallet into an herb garden. Visit One More Time To Celebrate for more pics and the tutorial.
Gayle at Gayle's Decorative Touch used spray paint and Anne Sloan dark wax to give this roo a new doo! He turned out great!

I love the aqua and lime together...what a pretty color combination. Visit Judy at
JBigg's Little Pieces for more pics of this summer tablescape.

Ok, I didn't know what in the world I was going to share until this morning! I have to admit that I haven't been very creative lately. I tend to get this way in the hot summer time. It always comes back though and I want to do everything at once! =0

Anyway, most of you know that I have been making some changes in the living room over the last several months. I haven't done  much in the kitchen, but I did rework the tops of the cabinets with some different accessories a while back. I have decided I like larger accessories up there because the smaller items tend to make it look cluttered and busy. I used large baskets, moss balls, birdcages and some greenery.

This is my favorite little vignette. I just love that birdhouse and the moss balls.
This is the other side of the kitchen. I used a large metal rooster, a basket and some greenery. There is something about baskets that I am loving right now! I think it's the texture and the darker color against the gold walls.
 What did you create?

You can link any item you have created, a piece of furniture you have painted, a vignette, a room you have decorated, a recipe, and the list goes on and on...

I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July! We were not able to shoot off any fireworks here due to the burn band. Chase was so bummed but he will have plenty to shoot off after it rains. I hope you are all staying cool! I know most of the country is experiencing this heat wave. Ugg!!

Have a great day!

(sorry this post is up so late)
