My Design Portfolio~Part 2~And My New Roo!

Hey Guys! I hope you are having a great week! Mine has started out busy and will continue through the weekend. Do you have big plans for Labor Day? We have a family reunion on Saturday and might go to the lake on Monday. We'll see...Anyways, I mentioned I started working at the interior store some lately so I wanted to show you a little bit of what I have been making. Fall is just around the corner! This store has been getting in some cute fall items...it's really putting me in the fall mood! I'm also ready for cooler temps!
Look at this cute little scarecrow girl...I put her in a pot with a pumpkin and some fall flowers and foliage. How cute she would be on a front porch! (click to enlarge pics)

This scarecrow in the wagon was fun to make!
Fall Wreaths!

They sell alot of arrangements with the reds and golds.

I love all the wispy stuff!

An arrangement in a box! Love the bird lid...
Rust is really coming back in...they sell alot of it.

This one sold right after they put it out! It is actually in a gold basket and the birds sit on the handle.

I took a picture of these butterfly pictures on Friday and they sold over the weekend. Aren't they gorgeous!! They sure would look good in my house...and I love those butterfly pillows on the sofa!

This cute polka dotted rooster followed me home today! lol...Isn't he fun? I haven't bought anything since I have worked there, so it was about time! I used a container and fruits and foliage I already had and whipped this up in the kitchen! I haven't even glued him in yet. I just love him!! I really need to make one like this for the shop.

I posted part 1 of my design portfolio several months ago, I tried to create a link, but it's not working and hubby's in bed...sorry about that. I posted it on May 5 if you would like to take a look. Have a great rest of the week!!

The arrangements are beautiful Kristen. I guess it would be hard not to bring things home from the store...it is all gorgeous!

Those are all quite amazing arrangements Kristen. I'm curious how long it takes to put one together. I'm always pulling pieces out of one arrangement and adding it to another. I also try to scoop up any and all pieces I find at yardsales and thrift stores to add to my existing arrangements. It's a fun hobby, but you are definitely the master!

Kim

Kristen everything you create is truly gorgeous. I really loved the one with the bird box lid. How pretty! Your new rooster arrangement looks wonderful in the kitchen. It's really a nice size and very beautiful too.

We are on watch for the hurricane churning away out in the Atlantic. Ugh! It should be okay and we will have tropical storm winds in our county. I get so nervous during bad weather though. I've been through too many storms in my life.

Have a great day!
