I Shopped Until I Almost Dropped!!

Hey guys! I hope you all had a great week! I'm sorry it has taken me so long to do this post. We ended up staying in Dallas until Thursday. Sherry and I decided to stay and go back to market and do more shopping! Alot of the showrooms were having great sales and we were able to pick up several great items including flower stems and ribbon. I snapped a few pictures of some showroom windows as I was walking by. Maybe I will start selling arrangements as big as these in my Etsy store soon!LOL...

I found some beautiful ribbons for my tassels and frames. I will be listing some soon...

I also found some beautiful flower stems! Some of these I was able to buy in the showrooms, others I ordered and can't believe they already arrived! That was fast! This is only part of them...I went a little crazy :0

I ended up making myself a new arrangement for my dining room table with some of the new stems.

I also bought this birdhouse. You know one thing leads to another...I ended up redoing the tops of my cabinets thanks to this piece! lol...
I bought this pretty little chest too...I'll show you where I put it soon.
Not only did we go to market but we went to Stein mart, T.J. Maxx, Macy's, etc...I bought the purse and blouse at T.J. Maxx and the shoes at Stein mart.
We had alot of fun, but yesterday I spent the whole day cleaning! When the cat's away the mice will play. lol...Would you believe I went shopping again today? Chase had to have some new shorts, so we ended up going to J.C. Pennies. I am shopped out!! (for now;)
I hope you all have a blessed Sunday...

Trust me, being 'shopped out' is only a temporary state. Love the Steinmart finds. Can't wait to see what you do w/ the ribbon. Have a good weekend!

You found such gorgeous new things! Market must be so amazing.
The new black chest is really stunning and unique. I can't wait to see where you put it and all of your new frames and tassels. Yay!

Your new blouse and shoes and purse are all just precious. I would love to shop til I drop. I think I need to try that soon. Ha! :)

Kristen, I understand shopped out. I had 2 Boutiques at one time and went to market many times a year and in different cities, it is a chore when you are stocking shoppes.

Love the things you bought.
Anxious to see new creations.

Looks like you got a lot of great stuff. I would love to see you pack and ship those huge arrangements! You dining room table arrangement looks great!

Beautiful arrangements, Kristen! I don't think you'd have a problem selling those large ones {great for an entry foyer}, it's the shipping that will be near impossible! The ribbons are so pretty and so are the florals. I love the one you made for your table. Do you put together custom arrangements {through your Etsy}, too? As far as particular colors used in a room?

BTW, I posted a Spring table setting in my kitchen and showed off the bird arrangement I had purchased from you. Gave you a shout-out! : )

Steinmart is one of my favorite stores and for shoes its awesome.

I love those big flower arrangements, NOW i need to continue doing what i'm doing, decluttering and changings things and hopefully i can find the perfect pedestal and THEN place a HUGE flower arrangement on that.

You found some incredible buys ~ and I love Steinmart. I can always find things I want there.

Your new flowers & ribbons are gorgeous! Did you happen to find any turquoise ribbon? I'm using that color now where I've moved. Well, that is my intent ~ I'm still unpacking! ;-)

Thanks so much for sharing ~

Brightest blessings,
Pat

Kristen~sorry I haven't been by for awhile....I know how wonderful the floral markets can be. I'm sure you'll put some wonderful creations together.
I "adore" Kathy VanZeeland handbags/purses. I've gathered a few along the way to add to my collection.
She has a great attention to detail, just like you.

I'll be by again.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
