Cock-a-doodle-doo!!!

Cock-a-doodle-doo! It's time to show off those roosters! Thanks to Barb at Bella Vista for hosting this fun party! Please pay her a visit, she has a wonderful blog and is featuring some beautiful roosters.

I made this arrangement when we moved in about 5 yrs. ago. It has evolved a bit over the years and I recently added rabbits for the spring and summer months, but Mr. Rooster is glad to be back!

He sits on my island and can be seen all around.

His mate is in the cabinent....

But she keeps an eye on him,lol... My favorite plate...

I hope you enjoyed the little rooster tour. I don't have alot of roosters, but I enjoy the ones I have! I'm currently looking for some small roosters to make arrangements to sell here on my blog. As soon as I find just the right ones, I will post them. I will also have some frames for sale soon too, since fall is coming I'm finally getting motivated! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Part 2...My Aunt and Uncle's Beautiful Home

Hey Guys! Ready for part 2? You might have to come back several times to look at these pics, there are a ton! I read all of your comments and it sounds like you really enjoyed the first tour! How could you NOT love this house? Don't you agree it should be in a magazine? I just wish you all could see it in person, the pictures are good, but you really don't get the feel of it unless you are there. Anyway, lets start this tour in the master bedroom....ohhhh...this bedding is gorgeous!

I love the jewelry box with all the little bottles on top. Cute!
I would swear those tulips were real....I just love all the realistic arrangements all over the house. They make the house feel so fresh!

This is a little sitting room off the master bedroom....it's just gorgeous with so much detail.

Isn't this shelf cute with the birds and plate? Great idea for a little something different.

Oh my! The master bathroom is beautiful!!

This is another bathroom...I love that walpaper, it's so different!

Here is an idea for something over a toilet. I purchased a little shelf recently that is getting a paint job. I am planning on doing this.

This bathroom is in the new addition, just beautiful!

Love this chest and look at that dog! This is in the office.

This is in the hallway in the new addition. Love love love it! Look at those chairs!!!
This painting hangs in the hallway
This is the new living area....isn't that a cool light? This room is stunning!
Wow! This piece is gorgeous and look at that little table to the right, it is so cute!

wow!
I love this shot!

Aren't these chairs great!
A little sink by the pool table.

More perfect bookcases...

I love this!

This is the bedroom in the new addition, it's really pretty.
Isn't this the coolest lamp? I love all the colors.

Another beautiful chest...

This is the sunroom, I love this room! This is not the best picture, but you can still see the beauty.
I love those chairs!

She has 2 of these chairs, they are gorgeous!

I love this little table with the rabbit underneath.

This is a really neat cabinet.
Closeup of one of the chairs. Lovin the bird pillows!

Isn't this cute??

I meant to put this picture on the last post. It's in a little area by the kitchen. Love the foxgloves!

I hope I didn't overload your eyes with too much beauty! I probably should have done 3 posts! We may not all have big homes like this one, but we can incorporate some of her fabulous ideas. I know I will! I love the way she mixes so many different pieces of furniture, accessories and fabrics together. I think that's what makes everything so interesting and not predictable. I hope you all enjoyed the tour!! Have a great weekend!

By Popular Demand...My Aunt and Uncle's Beautiful Home Part 1

Hi Guys! Thank you for all the nice comments on the offices my aunt decorated.
I told her about all the nice things you said and she was very appreciative and allowed me to come photograph their home. I was anxious to see it again since I haven't been over in a while. I spent over an hour today just trying to take in all of the beauty and of course taking pictures...lol. She has moved some things around and purchased some new pieces since I've been there last. It is even MORE gorgeous than I remember! Let's start in the entryway...Soft beautiful colors...I love the flowers, they look so real! She uses alot of realistic looking silk arrangements in the acrylic water.

This is the formal living room, look at that chest!! This room is filled with beautiful things and is one of my favorites.

I love all the antiques and fabrics in this room. I can't say enough about it...

I will try not to say "love" so much, but it's going to be hard because everything is so pretty!

A simple vase of glads...
I can't help it....I LOVE this fabric!
On to the other living room....More beauty awaits...Look at all of this color, there is so much interest in this room.

I took this picture from the top of the stairs...It's a beautiful view of the whole room. On the right you can see a mirror... it really opens up the room and makes it feel bigger.
This chair really caught my attention...this is one of her newest finds. Love the black background with those coral colored tulips.
Another beautiful view. Don't those chairs look comfy and pretty at the same time?
She uses alot of plates on the wall, which I love....

isn't this table unique?

I spy a little leopard stool, how cute!

I love the greenery on the clock, great idea. Like I said in the last post, her bookcases are perfection.

On to the kitchen....look at that little pig with the grass! So cute!

You rooster lovers (that includes me) are going to love the kitchen area, she has some of the most unique roosters I've ever seen, including 2 of these lamps.

Oh my goodness...I love this pig!

Look at all the roosters!

I love this shot....isn't this dining area fabulous?!
This is so unique!
More roosters guys! Aren't they adorable!
This rooster is beautiful and those pictures....you know...I love em!

So pretty....

I hope you enjoyed the first tour of their home, be sure and come back for the second half in about 3 days. I'll be showing you much more including a new addition they recently added. You won't want to miss it!! Thanks for stopping by!
