Mantles, Trees and Staircases...

Hey Guys! Can you believe it's almost Christmas day?! I was reflecting on some of the homes Sherry and I decorated this Christmas season. As you know I got behind on my posts, so I decided to consolidate some of the houses into one post. Now this is not all that we did, but it is alot of it.
I'll start with some mantles...
This one is very elegant.
This one is in a kitchen.

Very elegant...

A little rustic...

Elegant.

I love the snowy picture behind this one.

More elegance...

This mantle is in my best friend's house. I think it speaks for itself!

Rustic, yet elegant.

Trees...This tree is so much fun and very whimsical!
Elegant.

Whimsical yet elegant.

Very fun and whimsical! Love all the presents!

Unique!

Elegant and sophisicated.

Love the royal blue and gold, such a pretty combination.

Here are two of the staircases we did...both are very elegant.

Well, those pictures were not exactly organized, lol... I hope you are all ready for the big day! I have been so caught up in the decorating and the hustle and bustle, but am now realizing and reflecting on what CHRISTmas is all about...I hope you are too! Thanks so much for your visit!!

Kristen, your work is so amazing!!! Absolutely beautiful!!! I could look at these pictures over and over again.

Can I ask a question? Do you use anything to hold the garlands in place on the mantels? This is the one area I always seem to have so much trouble with every year. I love the idea of draping a lush, full garland across my mantel but it never wants to stay for me. So I end using these mantel hook thingies I got a few years ago but that means the garland just drapes across the front leaving the top of the mantel bare. I am stumped! Please help!!! :-)

I love the rustic mantle. They are all beautiful, thanks for sharing. I too am focusing on CHRISTmas. It's so easy for us to get caught up in all the extras and forget the reason we celebrate in the first place, thanks for the reminder! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Merry Christmas Eve, sweet Kristen! Oh, my goodness - your decorating is so beautiful! You are so full of inspiration for olden ones like myself. I love that green tulle or ribbon around that tree! Love seeing what you do and I hope it was fun for you too! Do your clients tell you what they want or do you just go to town?

Now you rest and have a wonderful blessed Christmas and I just love seeing your pretty face and that sweet smile!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Oh Kristen, how I wish I could afford to fly you to Ohio next Thanksgiving so you could work on my home & make it look as pretty as these! You do outstanding work, Honey!

I went looking for all the foo-foo stuff to make a bow for the top of my tree. Couldn't find 1/2 of it at JoAnn's, so I gave up & just stuck the same old angel up there. Next year, I 'm doing one for sure!!!
