Happy summer!!

Hey guys! I hope you are all having a wonderful summer!! I have been doing a little bit of everything and a whole lot of nothin! lol...I want to apologize for leaving you hanging though. Ever since Chase got out of school my blogging has been taking the back burner. We have neighbor kids over every day and my blogging room is their new hang out! It's too hot for them to play outside right now, we've had temps in the upper 90's and 100's. I also feel like I'm constantly watering. I really wish we had a sprinkler system right now! I water day and night! (dreading the water bill) Anyways, I haven't done any decorating in forever. I'm still waiting on my creativity to return. I usually move some things around or something, I guess it's just the heat! My priority is keeping my flowers and grass alive right now!

These are the prettiest pots I've ever had...I used Miracle grow moisture control potting soil. I definitly recomend it!

We've been doing alot of swimming to stay cool. My aunt has a really nice pool and lets us use it alot. Chase is on the left with two of his friends, Evan and Tori.
We drove up to Mt. Magazine a few weeks ago for the butterfly festival. I took this picture...I've been seeing alot of these butterflies lately.

I also took these pics of the humming bird there. Isn't he so cute!

After all the watering is done, I like to lay on the hammock and watch the sunsets. What a beautiful time of day!

I will try to post my front yard soon. I actually planted MORE flowers this evening. Lowe's had them for .50 for a 4 inch pot. I couldn't resist since they were so cheap! Have a great rest of the week!

What a lovely yard you have.
This is our first summer here at Farming on Faith and it is going to take some time to turn a 10 acre cow pasture into a beautiful yard.
So~I so enjoyed seeing yours!
Blessings~

I love the flowers. I'm going to take your recommendation. The patio is lovely.

We'll take a little of your heat here on the East Coast. It's been a very cool and rainy summer. I'd be happy if we hit 80 on the coast!

Enjoy your time with your son and the fun filled summer days.

It is so great to see you back to your blog! Your pictures, especially of that hummingbird, are AMAZING!!! And I totally agree with you on the Miracle Grow Moisture Control soil. It is the only soil I will use in my flowerpots. That stuff rocks! Looking forward to more posts of your beautiful home and yard!!!

Your flowers are really, really full now. So pretty. I love that picture of the little hummingbird. I have a feeder suctioned to my kitchen window and see lots of them. So fun to watch.

Can't wait til you get back to decorating! I understand how summers are though!
