My Parent's Beautiful Deck!

Hi Guys! I'm still here....I've been meaning to get this post up! I know I said I would be posting more often....I've really been meaning too....it's just that things are pretty boring around here. Chase is out of school and we pretty much just stay around the house. I haven't been feeling very creative either. I guess it's just this lazy summer weather. I'll come out of this little slump soon though, so just stick with me! I'm missing you guys!

On with the post...I'm joining Tootsie's Ferilizer Friday. This is my parent's beautiful deck. They have an amazing view! I planted the flowers about 3 weeks ago. They are looking so pretty....

My mom read that wet sand attracts butterflies. I need to ask her if it's working...

The flowers hanging on the deck rail are called pentas. They also attract butterflies and humming birds. And that's a butterfly box beside them. She is really into butterflies...

Butterfly bush....

These are looking really pretty. I like to plant all kinds and colors of flowers and greenery in pots.

Color Color Color! The more the better, in my opinion. lol...I hope you guys have a great weekend!! I'll be talking to you soon....

I would be in heaven living there. They must sit out on that gorgeous deck all the time and just daydream. Amazing!
I just adore all the vibrant flowers and the different levels look so interesting. Thank you so very much for showing it to us. Tell your Mom I love it!

Well let's see if this let's me comment. We have had so many issures lately.
Thanks for your kind words today. Alex is about to wipe out the computer. He came home early since it's acting up so much.

I'll be happy to pick you up a "B" rug if they still have them. I can mail it to you no problem. Let me know. They were not very expensive at all.

Have a great weekend and your blog is still wonderful my friend.
You're one of the most creative people I know.

Hi Kristen... Wow your mom & dad’s deck is wonderful... What a view for sure... I hope she gets lots of beautiful butterflies & hummingbirds... there are certainly enough beautiful flowers to attract them... We will be arriving in Van Buren the 14th of August... We should try to meet for lunch after we get there... It would be fun. Love YA

Hi Kristen,
It was so good to hear from you!
I'll be happy to see a new post from you again. That's great! I understand about not feeling like decorating or blogging lately. I'm starting to feel it now.

I honestly can't think of anything else to blog about. My hubby wants me to keep private stuff off the blog so I do try to focus mainly on decorating. I might do a tag I was given a while back. It seems so many blogs are tag and award free now though. Oh well maybe not. LOL!

See you soon. ~Melissa ;)
