A toothache and a few recent projects

Hey guys, Thanks for all your nice comments on my Maui pics. For those of you that haven't been, I hope you get to go someday. For those of you who don't like to fly, maybe someone will find a way to pave a road in the ocean someday.lol!
I could use a little prayer. I've had a tooth that's been bothering me for several months now. It's a long story, but I've had two fillings including a medicated one, and finally had a partial root canal lastTues. They were supposed to finish it, but with all the pain I've been having, decided to set me up with an endodontist to see if there might be a crack or something they are not seeing (since it's not absessed). I've been on pain meds for a while now and finally the pain is letting up a little bit. I've had alot of people in my area praying, so I thought I would ask you guys too. I would really appreciate it!

Before I went to Maui and had the root canal, I worked on a few projects. Remember the contemporary house? She asked me to come back and redo her bookcases. She was also having a party for her little girl and wanted me to decorate the light fixture and table. She had a lot of really neat old books and we decided to put them in the top of the wood cabinet. I tried to create interest by using balance and scale in the bookcases. She has alot of really nice pieces!

She bought the butterflies and flowers. I used some of the green netting she had left over from Christmas and laid the flowers and butterflies around. Simple but cute! She put m&ms in the little buckets for the party.

I made this frame on a request and would be happy to make another one.

This lady needed an arrangement for her buffet. She had the container and wanted something that would go through spring. So this is what I came up with! She seemed to really like it.

Have a great rest of the week! Again.....I would appreciate a little prayer for this angry tooth! Thanks!!

Kristen, I am so sorry to read that you are having such a terrible problem with your tooth. Nothing can make you more miserable than hurting teeth. I'm saying prayers for you. Your client's shelves look great, and that butterfly decor is so cute. I am so ready for spring, and that spring flower arrangement made me want to bring spring to my house too. laurie

Hi Kristen!
Your decorating looks terrific and I like your style!
Oh I feel so bad for you with your tooth! I had to have a root canal last Aug. and it went so bad. I ended up at the same type specialist you are going to. First of all I had to be on antibiotics and pain pills for what seemed like forever. They could only do so much until that infection went down. Then the first dentist broke the drill bit off in my tooth-I thought I was going to die! So off to the specialist I went. He said they could not remove it but he tried to finish the root canal and put a temp filling. He was a very nice guy and seems like he knew what he was doing. I was suppose to go back for it to be finished up and get the perm filling and crown by now. UGGH! I have been putting that off. The pain has never completely gone away it comes and goes. I may end up just having it pulled. There is just not many things that cause more pain then a bad tooth-you poor girl I can so relate! I will remember you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you can get it fixed up real soon and be relieved of that pain! Keep us posted!

Great shelve arrangements! They have great balance! I also thought that the birthday party decor was very sweet! I'm sorry to hear about your tooth. I am a Dental Assistant and I had to stay late tonight - we had a patient with an abcessed tooth late this afternoon that needed relief! We always hate to hear about the teeth that won't settle down or that have vertical fractures. ~ Robyn

if anyone can relate to your tooth pain it is me...remember "stoner tootsie"? she will most likely be posting again from a bottle of pain killers near you! I am so scared of the dentist that I have a 1/2 molar in my mouth....that I obcessively brush to avoid painful infections!
good luck girl...I have my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Hi Kristen!
Thanks for dropping by! How's your toothache???

The little mini bundt cakes were a strawberry cake mix, with strawberry frosting but the added flavoring & milk to thin made the frosting sooo good! Let me know if you try it! ♥

Loved your pictures today. What a picture perfect floral arrangement! I also loved seeing the bookshelves and the table top decor.

AND THAT FRAME!!! Who wouldn't love to have that??

Miss Kristen~ By the looks of all your smiles, it seems Maui agreed with you all!! I have to say you looked gorgeous in the lavender print dress. Were you a model before you became a decorator? Seriously.
The flower arrangement was a nice compliment to her home, the perfect shades to go year round.

So sorry to hear about your tooth. It brought back memories of a similar experience I had. I turned up with a crack. My only advice...DON'T HESITATE to communicate your needs! Sometimes as patients we can become shy about asking for particulars in our care.
Fortunately this will pass and you'll be on the road to recovery. The good news is... this will allow you opportunity for a little, soft, cool and refreshing ice cream or sorbet. It lifted my spirits during my tooth aches.

Sweet Wishes,
Sars

Sorry about your tooth, I actually had a fall last winter and cracked a tooth and had to have it removed so I sympathize with the tooth pain. The bookcases look gorgeous. Bookcases can be challenging but fun.
