New Year's Eve celebration in the bathroom!

I hope you all had a Happy New Year! Kevin and I went to dinner while my mom and dad took Chase to a movie. I had babyback ribs. Yum Yum! When Chase got home we watched some of the celebrations on T.V., and around 11:30 he wanted to take a bubble bath. At midnight I brought in the Sparkling grape juice and we had a toast! Chase was a prune by the time he got out! I really need to work on the settings on my new camera, we have red eyes!
The next 3 days will be spent with my family from Kentucky and packing up Christmas decorations. I know I've said this before, but I want to thank you for your visits! I really appreciate them. I have more projects coming up soon! I am just posting as life happens, so stay tuned.........

  2. Hi Kristen! Looks like you are having fun! A bubble bath sounds like a good idea. My 8 year old grandson stayed up until midnight for the first time when he spent the night with me last night. He was so proud of himself, but I think the ball drop was a let down for him after all that effort! He was out by 12:01!...lol...Happy New Year!!...Debbie

There's a bit of sadness for me in taking down the Christmas decorations. Oh well, Valentines is just around the corner....

  17. Hi Kristen,
Thanks for coming by and leaving such a kind note.
I saw the "Blog Catalog" link on your blog first so that's why I signed up. HEHE! I'm learning more every day about blogging and it just gets more fun as I go along.

Micasastyle.com is a website very similiar to RMS.
You can create an account and upload spaces and then get rated from 1-5.
    It's much smaller in scale
than RMS though. I don't think many people know of it yet. I posted my DR and then got bored and removed it quickly. It was soooo slow. I'm sure you would enjoy it now though. I think more people are on it. I think quite a few RMS'ers are posted on it as well.

Hope your 09' is going wonderfully so far!

  22. Hi Kristen,
Just coming up for a little bloggy air! I have had a full house now going on 3 weeks and still counting! Fun, but exhausting!
I agree, I feel so sad putting away the Christmas decor. I started taking down the stuff today. I loved your home, the mantle, your sparkly front door and the christmas tablescape. All so beautiful!

  33. What a darling picture. You guys are so cute! I am so glad that all the Christmas is put away and the house is back to normal. I just wasn't in to it as much as I normally am. I think it was because I put everything up so late this year and because I was so busy with work.

I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday.

I can't wait to see what Kristen will be up to next.

    Have a great week.

  36. What a great pic! So cute. My son used to do that...stay in until he was a swriveled up old prune. Don't know if this helps but I have Vista on my computer and if I go into Microsoft Office Picture Manager, there's an option you can click on that somehow magically removes red out of the eyes in pics. I don't know if this option was available on XP or the other operating systems but it came with Vista, I think. Susan

Thanks for the comment. Hopefully I'll take to blogging like a duck takes to water and be able to contribute things that are interesting and helpful. Keep making time for bubble baths at midnight! If you do, by the time he's grown you'll have a treasure chest of memories to cherish and he will too.
