Here are the tops of my kitchen cabinets. I tried to create a warm and inviting atmosphere with color and greenery. As you can see I like lots of things, I created different levels just like in the bookcases to create some interest.
It was really hard to get good pictures, my kitchen is pretty small and there's a light hanging over the island that kept getting in the way.
I've been really busy the last couple of days making things for my Etsy Store and a craft show I'm doing in Dec. I'm excited about Christmas, but it's also a very busy time as we all know. Also look for my blog give away soon!!

ReplyDelete~Gorgeous Kristen! I always love your sense of style and balance. The fronts of your cabinets are beautiful too. Thanks for coming by and complimenting my tablescape. It was a spur of the moment decision to post it. I must admit I don't even own a tablecloth but I have four sets of dishes. Go figure...~Melissa

You did a great job up there! I know how hard it is to get everything looking just right on top of them! It takes SeVEraL trips up & down the ladder!
ReplyDeleteHey, I am starting... to feel a little better. I don't think I will be going back to the floral shop. I can't have any set back with my shoulder. This was way too scarey for me. I am not sure what I'll do. Maybe just stay at home and enjoy my beautiful life.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Terrie
Those cabinets look great. Since its wood, be sure to clean them regularly with a wood cabinet cleaner

ReplyDeleteIf your interested in a recycled rubber playground then you should use this company they’re great.
ReplyDeleteThis is one reason why I like to be able to decorate above my cabinets. It adds such character and something special to the kitchen. My kitchen is screaming 1977 drop ceiling plexiglass panels and hopefully I will be able to have that changed in 2012..It's on my list of goals to accomplish. We've only been here going on 7 yrs. so gradually changed things over to reflect our style of living, not the previous owners. Now if I could only win the Md. lottery!
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous...you have a way of grouping items together nicely - your home is lovely!
